There are some very good television journalists in this town. Ferrier is not one of them. I've never understood why Channel 4 tries to pass him off as a serious investigative journalist - he's an embarrassment. Glad the TBI exposed this ratings hype-machine.

So last time I commented on an Amp-related article, my suggestion of having a BRT serve the Murfreesboro Rd. corridor was implemented, and I'm deciding that that is sufficient evidence to show that these comments work.
Now I'll suggest a BRT line on the Nolensville Rd. corridor.
I still think BRTs are a fantastic idea. I think Dean's chasing the folks with money as opposed to those of us who actually use public transportation. I know that they want to increase ridership, but one way to do that is to make public transport more convenient, more reliable, more useful. That can, and should, be done within the existing system prior to pouring a lot of money into this project.

This story was typical hyperbolic yellow journalism which is now the norm for this crap TV station. Channel 4 was once respectable but no more.

Government should not be run like business. Government is not business; they have very different aims.
And Haz should keep the phrase "appearance of impropriety" in mind. They don't teach that at B-school, I imagine.

If its legal to have an unborn child ripped from your womb and killed why can I not fight my roosters. If you don't like it don't go see it, its not like we do it in public. Cockfighting should be legalized and put in to casinos so the state can make much needed revenue. If we as a country can allow abortion why can you not turn a blind eye to the oldest sport ever.

TBI Director Gwyn was promoted to Director after serving as the Lab Director. It's always been questioned what he knows about Investigations from the moment he was appointed Director. One of the few agencies of it's kind that doesn't record or Video tape their interviews with witnesses or suspects in any of their investigations. Apparently doesn't want anyone to know the
true questions asked or answers given during their interviews.
Agents are mostly promoted from the Highway Patrol or the old Highway Dept scales and weights sections. Neither group of which has had very much Experience or training in the type investigations the TBI is called on to take charge of. Poor and shaky testimony is given often by these agents in actual trials. Public and Administration should know more about all this.
