If the scene puts Fox on the cover next week I will be really disappointed.

Re: “#MayoralChatter: We Do Not Know What To Think About This New David Fox Ad

Clearly Fox has no idea how to campaign, and no appeal to Nashville voters.

Sincerely,

Charles Robert Bone, Bill Freeman and Jeremy Kane

Re: “Franklin Moms Shill Gross Chicken, Parody Second Worst Song in a Generation, Go Viral (Obvs)

Hey, Maloney: Congratulations. You managed to make a group of upper-middle class white moms from Williamson County look like poor and put-upon victims. I think the song and the parody video are lame, too, but this post is way over the top. "Awful person?" F*** you. It's frigging chicken. You don't like it? Don't eat there. The only thing lamer than people who eat at Chik-Fil-A for political reasons is people who do not eat at Chick-Fil-A for political reasons. Screw you. Get a life.

Re: “#MayoralChatter: We Do Not Know What To Think About This New David Fox Ad

To paraphrase Lloyd Bentsen: Mr. Fox, I've watched Matthew McConaughey. I've lived through the McConaissance. Matthew McConaughey could be a bro of mine. Mr. Fox, you're no Mathew McConaughey.

Re: “#MayoralChatter: We Do Not Know What To Think About This New David Fox Ad

Like most conservatives, Fox has no ideas of his own and as a result must appropriate those of liberals. Hence this bad ad Nashville has to suffer.

Re: “Ashley Madison Users of Tennessee, Let's Talk

Marriage was created to relegate women to the status of property. Laws in a number of states confirmed that, and some of us older feminists had to lobby in our states to change those laws in the Seventies and Eighties. I'm sure some of those laws are still on the books.

Re: “Why Don't We Give Poor People the Incentives?

And the "omniscient" Brain Guy is almost as fixated, following a couple of commenters around for the sole purpose of insulting them from the "safety" of several transparent pseudonyms. Personal attacks are pretty much all that some commenters inflict here. That is always a giveaway to their claimed political leanings. It's why independents think you shouldn't be in charge of anything.

Next ad will be even better. It's a Silence of the Lambs parody with him as Hannibal Lecter and Carrington as Clarice Starling.

Re: “Ashley Madison Users of Tennessee, Let's Talk

It's good to know that the five women I met on Ashley Madison over the past ten years weren't real. They were each lovely figments of my imagination, with fictitious husbands who knew and approved of their extramarital affairs, or who couldn't perform sexually for medical reasons, or or just didn't pay enough attention to their wives. Those wives that don't exist, of course, because there are no real women on AM.

Sure, there are fake profiles on AM. A lot of them. But there are also very real people of both sexes with their own, unique, reasons for being there, and judging them without knowing their stories is small-minded, condescending, and arrogant.

Marriage was created as way to pass on property rights to the next generation.

Re: “Ashley Madison Users of Tennessee, Let's Talk

" Preoccupations with others' business is the ultimate in liberalism and progressivism,"

BS

It's conservatives who have labored mightily to tell gay people who they can and cannot love.
Conservatives who try to control women's bodies.
Conservatives shove their religious OPINION onto other people with restrictive laws and laws that favor their OPINION about religion.

"a number of true liberals agree with me"

Technically, "zero" is a number.

It's almost like Fox doesn't really want to win this race.

That's fine with me.
