what is amy's last name from the bbs?
I've had "Tornado Face" and "Country Lawyers" in my pocket for a long time. But also, nobody else seems to like those, so I suppose I'll just keep hanging onto 'em.
It sure is nice to see the Muddy Roots crew get some love from Nashville Cream. Long overdue in my opinion...
I totally agree with this article. Being a long time fan of the Black Keys, this show had no heart and soul. If felt very cold and impersonal. I drove down from MI to see them in Nashville, thinking they would play their heart out for their hometown crowd. That isn't what happened. :( I'm still bummed about it today...
I would really like to hear more about the Ikea Blues Package Cafe Set!
"2B' for f sake, the man just needed to vent...I think that's why you got a "dislike" but I understand what you are saying. I've been trying to thin out having too much stuff too and have been donating piles of all kinds of stuff. Having too much stuff just gets to be a burden. Sometimes it's difficult to let go of stuff you've collected either for sentimental value or you keep thinking you are going to need that stuff someday. I discovered the tv show "Hoarders" and every time I watch an episode of it, it helps to say to myself "I don't need all of this shit anymore" and keep thinning the place out. Now I'm going to "like"what "2B" had to say since he can be sensitive to negativity and I want to give him a vote of confidence.
Patrick, those tags are wonderful.
"doing stuff bones are apt to do, like hold my human body together. "
Your bones don't hold your body together. That's the job of connective tissue, like tendons and ligaments.
I sent my tickets back for a refund because I was told the concert was canceled .The tickets had to be received at Stub Hub no later than 10 May to receive the refund. Now the concert will go on ,I had Floor-1 row-3. Thank you StubHub for jumping the gun...
Is the Scene forced by contract to use the word 'scuzz' at least once in anything that is written about The Black Keys?
Looks like the video got moved again. Here it is, compiled as one file:

This has been one of my favorite albums for the past several years now. Sure is nice to see it get a proper release. Can't wait for the next volume of strange news from Mr. Wallace
>>>If you didn’t know that The Black Keys lived in Nashville, you wouldn’t have known it by the end of the band’s sold-out Bridgestone Arena gig Friday night.
The first clue: Their t-shirts read "THE BLACK KEYS, AKRON OH"
Their Daytrotter is really great too

That mound that Wayne was singing from is the best invention in arena rock. I expect you'll see Eric Church singing from one soon.
@Bummed...You nailed it. We even left early it was so disappointing. Flaming Lips killed it though. Stick to smaller venues Black Keys.
Looks like they skipped NYC too. Of course as Ian Faith stated, New York is not really a rock market. Spinal Tap skipped it also.
Re: “Promised Land to Change Name, Taking Suggestions”
How about 'Wabash Cannonball'? A folk song Chuck Berry based 'Promised Land' on: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Promised_Land_(song)
