Re: “The Daily Links: Uni Watch, the Second Amendment, and Graphic Images

"he would have ended up killing somebody else anyway. It would only be a matter of time."

You just argued against your own point. This guy decided to murder these two people and wound a third. If he was in a different place and/or situation, he probably would have killed other people.

Blame the murderer for his actions, not "federal policy", Obamacare, Hillary Clinton, or Megan Barry.

Re: “#MayoralChatter: We Do Not Know What To Think About This New David Fox Ad

I think we need to create alterrnative monologues for the ad. My first cut, titled 'What was I thinking?':

What was I thinking?

I just spent one and a half million of my own money - all I really had - and a million of George's money trying to convince people Nashville has a debt problem and that we are worse off now than we were eight years ago.

Eight years ago George and our hedge fund buddies had driven this country off the cliff. Why did I think people would forget that?

Then I listened to those jerks out of Texas and let them put Carrington into this attack ad, another strategy that didn't work.

That''s going to make the holidays hell for years to come.

Now some homeless guy is wearing that dumb fox costume I threw out. Not buying one of those newspapers from him.

Well, driving for Uber is not so bad.

@Brain poof: "Lumpy tried to turn it into a question of federal policy."

With his track record, if the killer had been white, he never would have been hired in the first place. PCness got two people killed. On the other hand, with his mindset, he would have ended up killing somebody else anyway. It would only be a matter of time.

Yeah, it is a good ad. Not sure about the mascot at the end, though.

Re: “The Daily Links: Larry King, Katrina Oaks, and the Roanoke TV Murders

"How about "Send In The Clowns" for all the right-wingers here, with Lumpy singing the lead part?"

Now that's comedy Brain Guy! Don't give up your day unemployment! Perhaps a variation of yoyo's name will magically pop up to support your lame ass post. That's how it works, right?

This is a brilliant ad, I just hope it hasn't come too late to help the clear choice for Nashville's next mayor: David Fox!

Re: “Why Don't We Give Poor People the Incentives?

Don't knock it son, at my age you need all the advertising you can. That's why I always look for the lampposts with the burned out bulb.

If you're doing an ad showing you driving around town at night, I'm thinking sunglasses and a convertible and and Ric Ocasek in the back seat.

Shake it up.

"Personal attacks are pretty much all that some commenters inflict here."

Said the old cow who called my mother a whore.

You have no credibility, deary.

You should let yourself out to pasture.

Capitalize the sentences, misspell a word, speak in a crazy tone to make us think it's JTR, we know it's you Casual Brain Guy. Didn't jump on the phone this time since that pattern was revealed.

JC, Brain Guy, Revelator, Agl Rdr, Chris Allen and I must discuss these songs at our next fake disability claim/medicaid fraud/ebt card cash conversion strategy session!

Who knows, maybe we can come up some new material but it is highly doubtful!

Re: “Vandy researchers explore a novel cure for homelessness: housing help

Don't you see Chester Blue? If rental property owners were required to accept these vouchers it would spread low income folks out across the county rather than pushing them into concentrated areas. Concentration of poverty leads to negative cycles of inter-generational poverty where as integration into middle and high income neighborhoods leads to greater opportunities for upward mobility.

Re: “TDOC To Undergo Independent Review

Commissioner Schofield is on the standards committee for the ACA, how in the hell is the ACA supposed to conduct an "independent" or non-biased review if he's on their board of members? That's like letting an inmate do the investigation for his own disciplinary hearing.

"Damn, yoyo, Brainless tracked me down sooner than I thought. This means he (?) patrols these boards day and night looking for me... creepy/weird."

Of course he does, then he switches over to his phone to make his sock puppet attacks and supports of his own posts.

It's a full time job, well pastime, the words job and Brain Guy are totally incompatible.
