C-u-t-t-l-e fish, and yes, he's detachable.
Richie is one of the best musicians in the history of nashville music. Rolling stones, the beatles, james brown, nirvana, michael jackson, richie.
haha no its one of the most generic things. his shtick is that hes a cornball in a cowboy hat, that does the "southern chromeo" thing.... nashvillians like irony, you kentucky folk don't understand music is just the background to what you look like that night.

we have the ability to cut lacquers from analog and digital sources, and we can even take digital sources to tape before we cut lacquers - so all digital projects can get some analog love before being on vinyl!

awesome! so, they're cutting lacquers directly from master tapes? no digital anywhere in the process?
also, woodland studios being mentioned as a 'great studio' makes one wonder...wouldn't it be nice if such a legendary studio was open to the paying public (and not just Robert Plant) for booking and being used daily for what it was built for?...as opposed to being a private playground for a couple in los angeles and their famous friends? it is a building big enough to cast a large shadow over 5 points, "downtown east nashville", after all...
I love Third Man Records. I've lost interest in just about everything in Nashville except Third Man Records. Thank you Third Man Records for being who you are...some blues, a little bluegrass, not to much country or country rock, sprinkles of folk and hip-hop with jazz tones and lots and lots and lots of rock & roll music in a place that is dear to my heart and not too far a walking distance away from where I stay when staying in the Music City.
"Damn, girl, what'd you eat today? Somebody open a window!"
Oderous: "Wow, I've never heard such a filthy mouth on an old woman!"
You know, I was just telling Blanche and Ethel that you minority boys are really quite clean and well-spoken.
My momma said "life is like a box of chocolates, you never know what you'll get"
i'm so god damn ready for this
Yes, I'm glad he played some of the Woody Guthrie material. I thought "I Ain't Got No Home" was one of the highlights of the show.
Re: “Best Local Rock Songs Ever, Part 14 [Rob Galbraith, Tony Joe White, Larry Jon Wilson, Mac Gayden, Billy Swan]”
Thanks Edd Hurt! That song Caney Fork River Daze I just recorded on a group I produced called
"Sweetwater Rose" on their new cd Spirit Horse.
