George's funeral service will be aired on the radio and tv....just heard it on www.wsmonline.com . So if any of you are going to be a "no show" at George Jones' funeral service at the Grand Ole Opry on Thursday at 10:00AM you can still hear the service on the radio, from start to finish they say, or even see it on tv. Now that is amazing. Thank you WSM! Also, a dj said there will be no commercials interrupting the service. It's about time they have a show without any commercials. It is only appropriate that they honor the great musician/singer/songwriter George Jones that way. Thanks to Nancy and the rest of George's family for giving this gift to the world. It's going to be quite a celebration.

I used to date this girl from Fort Lauderdale. She said she knew this kid named Brian who would come over and play video games with her brother all the time. Said he was a normal kind of fellow.

A week later: I still can't believe I missed out on seeing Neil Young at Third Man Records. The next time Third Man Records announces that it has to close for a couple of days for inventory I'll most likely want to carouse around the area, much like the homeless people do and observe from the sidelines what may really be going on, just in case it is a cover up for much bigger things happening than an inventory count (like this CMT Crossroads taping for Willie Nelson's birthday celebration...holy fuck). If Neil Young shows up outside of Third Man Records again I can use the opportunity to return a 20 dollar bill to him. It's a long story (((blogged it out once before to encourage "tobinthegnome" to force himself to get out and socialize since you never know what may happen in doing so))). Yep, Neil Young once gave me a 20 dollar bill to buy a 10 dollar ticket to one of his shows...back when you could go to a big arena show for 10 dollars and some change (for those darn additional fees). Oh, maybe I can give Jack White a 20 dollar bill to give to Neil Young and that way I'd have something to strike up a conversation with Jack White with. I've never been very good at carrying on a conversation with famous people, especially famous music people but that 20 dollar bill Neil Young gave to me back in 1983 (30 years ago) in my hometown Cincinnati, Ohio sure gave me a great story to cherish and talk about.

George Jones Was A Very Good Country music recording artist . I kiked alot of his songs that he did . When I fout that he died I was totally shocked . When I first heard about this sad news I was listening to KEKB 99.9 fm here in Grand Junction, Colorado.KEKB 99.9 fm is a country music radio station . I am a very huge fan of country music radio & music itself. Oh not to mention that i'm a huge country music fan. But my lastname is also Jones. You won't believe what my name is . Let's Just say That My Full name is famous . You can Google Search my full name - John Paul Jones . And you can everything bout my real first middle & last name. You will Flip your lids. No It Is No Lie At All Check It Out And You'll See Why I Hate My Full Name . Now I Listen To All Different Trypes Of Music Ranging From Tim McGraw, Eddy Raven, Jim Glaser, Bruce Springsteen, Bon Jovi , The Oak Ridge Boys, The Judds, Kid Rock , Amy Grant, Vince Gill, Uncle Cracker, Motley Crue, Ozzy Osborne, And A Whole Lot More Including Highway 101 Kenny Chesney , Reba McEntire Eric Church. When you read all of these names of recording artists and bands you'll soon see why I love music so much. Oh Yes this however does not end here. There is another two female country music artists on second thought there is 3 they are Carlene Carter, Shania Twain & Wynonna Judd plus one of my other female artists which is Lacy J. Dalton .

Marilyn Manson will always be Marilyn Manson. His most controversial years are over, but I still believe he's got some more things in store for the near future. His voice isn't worn out, he isn't fat, and I don't take it he's even tired either. The number one question that I keep hearing from my friends, mostly, is "When will his next comeback be?" I'm sick and tired of people, mostly ex-Manson fans too, hating on him and saying he's nothing but a washed up version of what he used to be. As far as controversy with Manson, I don't think any of those things you've listed that he's supposedly going to use on stage will shock anyone as much as it used to. And if it does, there is no question about it. Christians will absolutely protest. It's just in their nature to act out as the filthy scum that they are, as desirable as felt needed.

Please get your facts and rumors straight. The rumor was he was on WONDER YEARS and that was Josh Saviano not Brian Warner aka Marilyn Manson.. And as for is he still a shock rocker? He's a rock musician - that's all he's ever truly set out to be.
