Harsh critics. I think no other venue (minus Ryman) would have been more worthy & appreciative of having The Breeders grace their stage. So yeah, the sound wasn't perfect.....I'm not a fucking sound engineer, or deaf, and I don't have a huge complaint in that department. It was warm, but when you damn near sell-out a venue, all those bodies create heat. Why is everyone in Nashville such an unworthy nitpicking critic??? Thank you Drew M. & Cannery for an amazing night.
That's right bitches, bacon suits!

The Butcher Shop Trio the next boy band. Dressed up ready to be fed to the wolves, like Lambs led to the slaughter, cause God knows we don't need another annoying pop act. LOL.

To be honest, I thought the band in the movie kinda sounded like dirt, too. There's a lot to be said for not hitting the stage with a bunch of guys you essentially just met.
Perhaps none of the bands he's touring with are getting much rehearsal time with the man himself?
This is the same guy who wrote an article in a local zine talking all about how he used to steal money from the bands he booked. He has been a social media leech for years and i HIGHLY doubt that it's just about a shirt. Way to use a legitimate civil rights fight in order to get exposure for your job that you admitted you used to steal from. Oh wait...maybe that's why he got fired.
Stub hub user you will likely be able to purchase them back for less money as they will likely be relisted. I can't imagine they will sell for as much you originally paid as Mr. Jones is no longer with us and demand will be less.
Hands down worst room in town. Beer selection is the worst. Hot as shit too. Show was tight tho.
I heard it sounded like shit (not the band, the PA). That's a bummer!
That was the worst sounding show I've ever been to. So bummed they moved it to the Cannery. Seriously, if you're not in front of the stage, how can you even understand what's going on in that room?
A perfect example of how a big budget doesn't mean much.
Christ, folks. That's a pretty solid case of constructive criticism. He/she points out most of the same shortcomings The Spin does, just in a far less forgiving way – I assume because they're not so enamored by the story, they came to see a performance and not "worship" the man in the flesh.
the early Ubu of "Thirty Seconds Over Tokyo" and "Modern Dance" is among my favorite music ever, but I like most of what they've done over the years. Goose, I will say that I at least regard "Modern Dance" as just plain punk, it was too early for "post-punk" in 1978, maybe...? I got the chance to interview David Thomas in 2006, when Rocket from the Tombs played here. I found him a guy you could really engage.
"Anonymous" you say you were fortunate to have gone as a guest. I would not disagree with that. I would with everything else you say. You witnessed an artist that is a true gem that until recently was lost in the gravel and dirt of inner city Detroit. A city that is an American tragedy.
I thought his band was fine and I was not expecting Herbie Hancock style precision. Gosh, this is folk music here and he is 70 years old.
Concentrate on the message and vibe and enjoy the legend. I bet you won't find Dylan enjoyable this summer if you are looking for perfection.
