Re: “Nashville Recap: ‘That’s the Way Love Goes’

Well, the "Triple-Exes" kinda sucks, doesn't it. I thought Gunnar passed over a a really good name though. He floated "The Backroads", which is a little goofy, but I think simply "Backroads" would have been a great band name. (As if this was a real band.)

Re: “Nashville Recap: ‘That’s the Way Love Goes’

"Zancer" would also be a good name for a band, but it's probably too metal for these pinheads.

The "Smarts" chart is from the neglected 7th-grade math workbook, right?

truthfully, anyone who's seen the dining hall knows how phallic it is. how did no one bring this up before it was built?

Re: “#SolidGoldClit: Giant Clitoris Statue Unveiled at Sewanee

Ken...Sewanee's history is complex....not many know that on February 22, 1985 a few brave young men erected a huge penis scuplture, replete with dorsal vein and bulbous corona, near the intersexion of University and Texas Avenues on Sewanee's campus. The Dean of Students at the time was aghast and had the sculputre summarily destroyed. 6A, there's no denile these young men were visonary artists before their time. Yeah Sewanee's Right!

Re: “Nashville Recap: ‘Somebody Pick Up My Pieces’

I miss asshole Avery. And remember back when Juliette and Deacon were DOING IT? Did that happen?! How did all the young people on this show become so old and responsible and BORING? We need Juliette back now. Oh this show. I miss Peggy Kenter, for Chrissakes.

Re: “Maximum Force: The Original Mad Max Midnight This Weekend at Belcourt

Is this the version with the dubbed dialogue (because AIP thought Americans wouldn't understand the Aussie accents)?

Re: “Weekend Warriors: Here's What Scene Staffers Are Doing This Weekend

Laura: If you have to watch a TV series from the 1980s, I recommend MOONLIGHTING.

Unlike DYNASTY, it actually has quality. And you get to see Bruce Willis when he still had hair (barely). The entire series is on DVD.

Re: “Nashville Recap: ‘Somebody Pick Up My Pieces’

I love these recaps SO hard! I lived in Nashville for 30 years and now live in Atlanta. I watch "Nashville" to keep me from getting homesick (albeit with limited success). I am still laughing at last week's "afford clothes that aren't made from yardsale tablecloths" and "a white person's dreadlock." Hilarious and spot-on. Well done!

I kept expecting to read where the male students kept walking by because they couldn't find it.
