Re: “Third Man Books Announces Third Title, Hidden Water: From the Frank Stanford Archives

I didn't know Third Man did books. (I've been too long gone.) Is there no end to their coolness?

Re: “Call for Artists: Be Part of John C. Sims' The Belated Burial of the Confederate Flag

Before Burying the "Confederate Flag" that flew over SLAVERY, Please don't embarrass yourselves by burying the WRONG ONE...This information is WIDELY available...The typical Rebel Flag, or Stars and Bars or Southern Cross, and the Confederate Flag are not...repeat NOT one in the same...Try Google...

From ONE John C. Sims to another Please realize that this not about racism as much as it is about distracting us all from the fact that we are ALL having our country stolen from right beneath out feet. We must be divided so we are too engaged to see our common enemy and unite towards stopping what is destroying our country...we must ALL wake up.

Re: “Where Are Your Favorite Pup-Friendly Places in Nashville?

Pretty much any restaurant with a patio is dog friendly. I've taken my dog to places all over the city and have never had a problem.

Most of the shops in 12th south are dog friendly too and put out water bowls either on the sidewalk or in their shop for dogs to cool off.

Re: “Where Are Your Favorite Pup-Friendly Places in Nashville?

The Donelson Dog Park is awesome! Dog owners can get a quick workout in on the walking track while Doggies run free and play with their buddies. If you want to cool off with a cold drink after the dog park you should skip over to JB's Pour House in hermitage where the patio is dog friendly.

Re: “Where Are Your Favorite Pup-Friendly Places in Nashville?

if you don't have time to go to Percy or Edwin Warner on a given day, head over to Montgomery Bell Academy's campus. They have done a wonderful job developing that campus with the community in mind. It is very dog friendly, there are water bowls for dogs at the base of multiple water fountains on campus. Richland Creek winds through campus and there are multiple entry points to the creek which provide access to areas with moving water so your dog can drink and play around without you worrying about the water being too dirty. The lower field on Harding Rd next to the fire station provides a big space to throw a ball or chase each other around. The rest of the campus is very walkable and there is no shortage of rabbits/squirrels to be chased. You might want to start out at Elmington Park, walk down gorgeous Whitland and cross over onto Wilson where you can then access the MBA campus. That neighborhood is a fantastic area to walk dogs and the MBA campus is big part of why

Re: “Where Are Your Favorite Pup-Friendly Places in Nashville?

http://www.visitmusiccity.com/visitors/thingstodo/petfriendly has a new list of places you can take your pup. Our favorite dog park is the new one at Two Rivers, and we're very excited about the new dog park at Riverfront.
