This is a great story about the artist, Carmine Infantino, by my friend, Randy Fox!
It's the best torture ever.
"Archer Live, a touring show featuring the cast of FX's..."
More accurately, 5/9ths of the cast.
Hot yoga sounds like torture. I need to find a cold yoga studio.
Ashley,
Every week I run (with my little fingers) to this spot, as soon as Nashville's over, knowing you've had two hours to write before I see it on the West Coast. Wonder what it's like to know folks are waiting for you to hurry up and post your dang column RIGHT NOW because it's always so stinkin' funny. Your descriptions of Scarlett make me snort and cry and shove my face into a pillow so I won't wake up the house. Every time. Seriously. You are right up there with what's-her-name from Vanity Fair (with the Downton Abbey recaps). I'm one of the old original Scene "permalancers" from way back when and you're doing us proud. Kick it, sister.

I am a fairly new quilter. I love every second of it. I noticed the comment you made about the thing on the wall that holds your fabric to it. I purchased a tablecloth last fall on clearance for about $4.00. It had the felt on the backside of it. I tacked it up on my wall in my sewing room and it works great. It is very large, so I folded it in half, but for the times I am working on a real big project, I can always open it up to its' full size. I had a quilt top hanging on it that was about a twin bed size and it stayed up without pins. I love it!

I couldn't be more thrilled that Molly and Jason's story of love is spreading around the ENTIRE world!
Why is everyone hating on Avery? He is the most realistic character on the show. If you have lived in Nashville for any length of time, you have know an "Avery". You have either been in a band with him or you dated him, or you know someone who has. Maybe that's why his character is so hated, he touches on a past personal experience with a jerky musician willing to throw friends under the bus to "make it." Without his character, the show would just be the fantasy version of Nashville. The other story lines leave me and my friends saying, "yeah right, that is not how that would really happen!, who's writing this stuff? have they ever even been to Nashville?" Avery might be a jerk, but he is a true representation of all the desperate musicians here who will do anything to get their "big break."
Am I the only one waiting for Cowboy Neighbor to tell Avery "Welcome to Nashville, bitch."? (Ah, Luke, it's so good to see you back on TV...)
Reads to me like Wynn is supporting your line of reasoning and shooting down the conventional wisdom that SVU would fold without Meloni.
I hope Avery makes it to the roadie gig and is killed by a fallen lighting rig. Last week I was hoping a crane from the Music City Center would kill him. Avery needs to die!
Ron Wynn, re: SVU Wtf would it "Vanish"? ...Shows dont CANCEL themselves because an an actor LEAVES! Hargitay has always been at the forefront of SVU.
Sick and tired of the Meloni whining! SVU is pretty much a lock for renewal.
This latest episode of SVU was fantastic. Mariska Hargitay is stunning. She is like wine. The more time passes it gets better. Mariska is beautiful and talented.
this is the best one yet
In semi-related news, TOTN just got shitcanned.

The other morning I turned on the radio during the middle of On Point and the guest was talking and continued to talk uninterrupted for maybe 20 or 30 seconds. I thought, "Damn, someone must be filling in for Ashbrook today. No way he lets a guest speak for that long without interrupting." Turns out I was confused about what time it was and the show was actually Fresh Air.
Ashbrook has his good points. His worst point is that he can't shut up for more than about ten seconds.
My favorite recap so far. Joffrey! That Edwin song, the recurring ending. Love how you point out the obvious foreshadowing. Bravo.
Re: “Nashville Recap: ‘I Saw the Light’”
"Dan Savage does not approve" - ha!
