I really liked the show... I like the cast too all of them ! People are so cruel these days if you don't like it hears an idea don't watch it! Ding ding! Now here you are complaining about it .. I mean that was a lot of effort for a show you didn't care for? You care enough to look it up and complain! RUDE get a life people! I don't see any of you on TV... hmmmm

Re: “TV Review: Does Being on Private Lives of Nashville Wives Make You Famous or Infamous?

This show is an embarrassment to women and country artists everywhere. I watched an episode out of curiosity and was shocked at how bad the women treated one another. It's no secret that dramatic endings are par for the course for country artists, however none of what happens on the show is authentic. It is play acting drama and the characters are horrific. I changed the channel and won't return.

Re: “TV Review: Does Being on Private Lives of Nashville Wives Make You Famous or Infamous?

I am hoping the season finale will be the SERIES finale. The show is just ridiculous. TNT… what happened to "We know drama"?

As far Lorrie Morgan… I only have 1.5 cents on her. #1 When I worked at the Nashville Palace, she came in and, audibly, said "keep these people away from me." She need not worry. #2 I saw her at Loretta Lynn's release party for 'Van Lear Rose'. Too old for what she was wearing and her skin looked like naugahyde. Her husband, Sammy Kershaw, was very nice and treated everyone, including the wait staff, with respect. NO airs about him!

Re: “Nashville Recap: ‘Crazy’

I just wish Scarlett would check into rehab and never come back. I'm so sick of her pathetic, whiny, sniveling attitude that I want to get drunk! And way to screw Rayna's label even more, Scarlett. I honestly wish her character would just disappear. All the pathetic is just annoying. Suck it up and enjoy what you say you've always wanted or go back to waiting tables and stop complaining.

Re: “Private Lives of Nashville Wives Recap: 'Long Ride Home'

What a great way for Nashville Wives to showcase Agape Animal Rescue. I wish more reality shows would do this to raise awareness for these amazing groups that save so many animals lives. Great job to the cast and production crew! They deserve our gratitude!

Re: “Private Lives of Nashville Wives Recap: 'Long Ride Home'

This was seriously the most RIDICULOUS episode YET! My husband actually told me to change it cause it was killing his brain cells. But I couldn't! Cause the ONLY good thing about watching this nonsense is getting to read about it in the Nashville Scene the next morning!!!

Each month at Atmalogy, there's a poetry night on the third Thursday! While there are featured poets, everyone who enters, leaves a poet. Writings on the Wall . . .

Re: “Midnight Movie: Shogun Assassin Tonight at The Belcourt

I just rewatched Kurosawa's YOJIMBO, so I've had my fill of Japanese swordsman movies, too. At least for the next few days.

I've never seen a Resnais movie in a theater, so I'd go for any of those.

I went to SABOTAGE because I haven't seen an Arnold movie since TERMINATOR 3, way back in 2003. I was feeling nostalgic for the big Austrian.

SABOTAGE made for excrutiating viewing, but I'm afraid it's so bad it will become a camp classic. As one critic wrote, it "may be the most implausible movie in theaters now ... and remember, MR. PEABODY & SHERMAN is still playing."

Re: “Midnight Movie: Shogun Assassin Tonight at The Belcourt

Why'd you waste your quota on SABOTAGE? SHOGUN ASSASSIN is something you'd probably enjoy, given the grindhouse tastes you've mentioned here earlier. It was assembled by an actor from THE HILLS HAVE EYES working with a Warhol/Edie Sedgwick associate using a dubbing cast that includes a pre-fame Sandra Bernhard. What's not to love?

I could handle a Resnais retro, but what titles do you suggest? There's a whole lot of room to explore between NIGHT AND FOG, HIROSHIMA and MARIENBAD through STAVISKY to NOT ON THE LIPS, PRIVATE FEARS IN PUBLIC PLACES and YOU AIN'T SEEN NOTHIN' YET. I'd settle just to see his recently revived mod-era sci-fi movie JE T'AIME, JE T'AIME.

Variety, not to be outdone: "I am an anti-Christ?"

Re: “Midnight Movie: Shogun Assassin Tonight at The Belcourt

I had my fill of wall-to-wall bloodletting (and non-stop profanity) in Schwarzenegger's SABOTAGE a few days ago. If ever a movie deserved an NC-17 for gore and language, this is it -- and I have a fairly high tolerance for those elements.

I'm gonna recuperate by watching a few Alain Resnais films. When is Belcourt giving him a tribute?

Also, kudos to the person on our Facebook page who recalled Neil Young: "The King is gone but not forgotten / This is the story of Johnny Rotten."

Oh HELL yes. This on the big screen should be amazing. Consider it a warmup for THE RAID 2's wall-to-wall bloodletting next weekend.

Re: “Nashville Recap: ‘Crazy’

Old TV show reference! There was no snow globe scene in "Nashville." Ashley was referring to the TV show St. Elsewhere's finale where the entire show evidently took place in the mind of an autistic child. He held a snow globe containing the St. Elsewhere hospital.
