Only because so many folks take Fox News and the the press releases of the Teanuts as the Gospel.
Were folks to be fully informed they'd be aware of his crooked deals, corporate cronyism, and disdain for the citizens who aren't rich white men, he'd be wildly UN-popular.

My husbands has a crack back and Dementa we do not have cable and just do laundry once or twice per month. I don't have any income or insurance Iam 64 we been married 29 yrs our electric bill 179.00 my medicine over 100.00 how do u live on that and a older home 291.00

Never be ashamed of deriding the conservative lie. I hate some of the demagogs here, but I don't hate all republiconned people. They're decent enough people, just been duped. Who's got time to sort fact from fiction when you struggle the way low income people have to. Mortgages, utilities, healthcare, insurance. And their schtick is designed to appeal to their lowest common denominator. Greed, fear, selfishness, xenophobia, misogyny, distrust of academics and science. Knee-jerk topics.
