Re: “Tennessee Delegation Responds to POTUS Address on ISIS

Most all Presidents look much older and grayer after 6 years of office, except for that Methuselah with died hair, Reagan. Hence any attempt to denigrate him via his tired looks just fails to face the reality.

As for the WSJ, considering it is the love child of conservative GOP benefactors and owners, it just might be a bit less than unbiased. Just saying.........

Re: “If Religion Fixes Everything, Then Why Does Everything in this State Suck So Much?

Angl, go back and read my post....carefully. Actually, I was not here for several years and can't recall posting as anyone but "john."

Prag, I just get tired of AWP, I can write parodies all day about the other side; probably use AWP's work as a template of sorts. BTW, would anyone here be amused?

@Angry White Patriot...yes your plan sounds like a great "Final Solution" to the Middle East question. BRILLIANT!

Re: “If Religion Fixes Everything, Then Why Does Everything in this State Suck So Much?

prag: the embarrassing fact (for yoyojohn) is that AWP's parodies poke hilarious fun of the POV's of yoyojohn and all his sockpuppet Sybil style efforts. hence, by demeaning AWP in his own mind, he can be content his opinions. Kinda juvenile, eh?

You might do well to spell Cheney correctly as you admire him so much.
Or just call him Dick, we'll know who you're talking about.

Re: “Tennessee Delegation Responds to POTUS Address on ISIS

BHO is in a bad, bad spot. He came in thinking his new and liberal ways would work just fine out there in a mean world. He looks old and worn out. Hair is rapidly graying.

Some on this board might do well to read the WSJ and their editorial praising Dick Chaney. Heh, heh, could he be rehabilitated? There is plenty there to read about the trouble we are in because of this president and the starry eyed naive admirers who surround him.

I refer to the Journal frequently, knowing most will not look at any other conservative source, indeed, will attempt to trash them though having never read a word of the others. Example might be Nat'l Review. Many have never read a word of the WSJ but somehow it does not raise the ire of the board (as much).

One possible and much hoped for side effect might be a loss of faith in Hillary (Benghazi) Clinton.

Incidentally Angle, Corker is doing very well; regularly appears all over the TV circuits and admired at least to some degree by the MSM/Washington liberals.

Re: “Yeah, Man, It Would be Terrible if Someone Came into a Windfall and Still Got TennCare Money

JTR and prag: I really don't think it's Donna, this cheap sockpuppet does not possess DL's ability to weave a story, somewhat disjointed at times, but still with competent writing skills. Plus she is too egotistical NOT to claim credit for her posts! This yahoo just throws stuff up on the wall in amateurish attempts to demean JTR, most likely in revenge for JTR's rumored (?) sniper, not to mention quite entertaining attacks he offers as various persona's. Perhaps it's yoyojohn, perhaps someone else, but honestly, in spite of the cow references, it just doesn't sound like Donna to me. But I could be wrong and often am, like it matters.

Re: “Tennessee Delegation Responds to POTUS Address on ISIS

It's obvious that "congress" and "consensus" are close to each other in the dictionary, but miles apart in real life.

Do we really have the time to wait for congress to do something?

john, I guess it really is impossible to please everyone, but you do seem to be the only one here who doesn't appreciate AWP's parodies.

The posts that he (she?) writes will never will a Pulitzer Prize, but just relax a little and take them for what they are.

Wow. And I thought gast was the most paranoid troll in the Pith.
I'm not really following this narrative, but I'm not trying that hard either. I guess it's supposed to infuriate me? Frighten me?
I'm not afraid of all your cousins donna or your lawyers or your powerful friends.
You've gone from embarrassing to pathetic to truly sad in one thread.

You get he's a parody, right, john? You've been here for years, under one guise or another. You should've caught on by now.

Re: “Tennessee Delegation Responds to POTUS Address on ISIS

Didn't the president explicitly say he was going to Congress to seek approval, but also made it clear that that wasn't something he had to do, but that it was a good idea?

Listen better, Cork!

Yes, and the AWP is as tiresome as always. And, worse, many here at PITH are vastly amused at his sophomoric writings.

Re: “Tennessee Delegation Responds to POTUS Address on ISIS

I'm going to repeat what a truck driving buddy of mine recently told me, because it makes perfect sense! We should just use all of our nukes and wipe the whole middle east out of existence (except for Israel of course)! That will solve all of our problems! Maybe give them a day to convert to Christianity, and then, if that fails, boom! It's really sad that with all of our representation in Washington, it takes a truck driver to come up with some sensible foreign policy solutions! I think that we could all agree on that!

This is just another pot-shot at conservative Christians! If people like me and Brother Yoyo could have access to these kids without the government getting themselves involved, they would be wonderful, fully functional young people! Instead, Nobama worshipping government bureaucrats pump these kids chock full of government propaganda like "global warming," diversity, and other pc crap! No wonder they are so messed up!
