At what point in time does modern art cease to be modern? Caveman critics must have grunted, "Whoa, dude, this is edgy!" at some of the wall creations of the era, but now these same renderings are considered quaint. There must be a time constraint - has to be. Someday the MCC will be considered 21st century baroque.

As far as BB's take on musicals, he is spot on! There hasn't been an entertaining musical since the Riverboat Blackface Minstrel Shows prior to the great rebellion, or so my good friends and cousins, zoombah and bobsweiner say! Given their universal respect and expertise I really must defer to their impeccable judgement.
Personally I would have dunked her Verizon version in her Gin and Metamucil, but that's just me!

Too many people get married because they're in love with the idea of love. Even so, the one question a girl should ask herself before saying yes is, "Do I want this person smelling up the bathroom for the rest of my life?"

My head says: Of course he shouldn't have thrown the woman's phone across the room. My heart (or something) says: Good for him.
If she brings criminal charges against him, he should bring charges against her for assault.

There's one simple way to eliminate Dean's distrust by vendors: have a complete & open audit by an independent auditor. Has this even been done?
I find it hard to believe the Fairgrounds has/is losing money, especially now that Dean is charging $5 per car just to park there.
As for all those pie in the sky dreams about development, has anyone taken a drive around the back side of the Fairgrounds & scoped out the neighborhood? Not exactly Belle Meade back there, folks. Not even Antioch, for that matter.
A quick & surefire way for the city to save $$ on the Fairgrounds is to use Metro prisoners to clean the grounds & bldgs. But Metro won't do this, even with DUI folks working off their public service hours. Why? Go ask Metro because it makes too much sense to me.
Dean is hellbent on selling the Fairgrounds & he's doing everything he can to make it happen. This is DESPITE the charter REQUIRING the Fairgrounds to host a state fair each & every year. As Yogi Berra said, you can look it up.

Sedum and aloe are not in the same families. Sedum is in the Crassulaceae and aloe in the Xanthorrhoeaceae. Also, Aloe vera is a species, not a family.
