Re: “This Logo Cost $46,000

Does the TN stand for "Tough Nuts" (if you get sick), "Those Nitwits" (if you are the legislature), or "Totally Nuts" if you are the teabaggers?
Here is a test: see if the Titans will wear them (for a price;of course they will.

Would the General have flown this at Chalmette Battlefield against the British on 8-January?
(More arterial blood spurt.) General N.B. Forrest? Would vomit after his Colt Army stopped.

According to the Urban Dictionary, "chode" is also spelled "choad". Both are correct.

Also, the insult you were looking for is "numbnuts".

You were wrong twice in one sentence. That's about normal for you.

Self hating pigs like yoyo and john leap at any excuse they can to think they're better than anyone else. Fat people are easy targets for the petty, sophomoric choads. Pathetic.

Re: “As the school district readies itself for a new superintendent, a new report spots organizational knots to untangle

"Same goes for the Magnet schools."
What? goes same for the Magnet schools? That "they send them back to their zoned Metro school" right before testing, if they are expected to test low? That is flat-out a false statement. The Magnets can't send anybody back anywhere during the school year unless a student commits a zero-tolerance offense, and there are pretty much none such offenses left anymore. Precious few students get sent back (revocated) to their zoned school at end of school year.

Also, the claim has been often made that the charters send kids back to their zoned schools right before testing, though the charge has been denied. Anyone making the charge needs to provide credible data/evidence to back it up. I'm not saying this because I'm in the charter camp (I'm not); just saying that false charges don't help to strengthen your concerns, if you're not a fan of charters, which I'm guessing you're not.

Re: “Attention WKRN — Being Trans is Not a Crime

"Paying for a hotel room in cash is not probable cause for an arrest"

Min, does the article say that's what happened? Read it carefully and see if it actually says that.

Re: “Attention WKRN — Being Trans is Not a Crime

The linked WKRN story says that the woman admitted being a prostitute and advertised on a site known for facilitating sex for hire. I don't what facts underlie the promoting charge, which is a felony. Loitering in a public place for the purpose of being hired for sex can constitute prostitution under our bizarre statutes.

Talking to police here was major league dumb. God gave us five fingers on each hand; use them as a reminder of the Fifth Amendment!

I think I remember the "eat healthy " part of the Constitution. It's right after forcing someone to make dessert.

Re: “Attention WKRN — Being Trans is Not a Crime

Yes, QuietMan, a tranny paying cash for a motel room in in area known for prostitution could just as easily be a "tired traveler." Crazy how they discovered he had posted prostitution ads and how he admitted he was a prostitute, huh? I mean, what were the chances of that? Must have been a million to one!

Min, since you're so against anonymity here, please tell us your full name.

When Megan mentioned a "big tent" I didn't realize she was talking about her outfits.

You're missing a verb, john.

Smart people know to review what they type before posting.

Are you referring to Chelsea's father in law or her husband's father in law Webb Hubbell?

Re: “This Logo Cost $46,000

"It is fine. You pay people for what all will like."

Based on the comments here and in media outlets across the state, this is widely seen as a travesty.

Of course, that explains why you like it.

The proper role of the government is to publish health information and encourage the general population to eat healthy.

Your mission to "call out fat people" just makes you a troll and an asshole.

Re: “We sent a dyed-in-the-wool progressive to the NRA convention. Here's what he saw.

@ poob:

"I think we as citizens deserve to know how much the city of Nashville spent on armed security officers for this event." You mean how much NRA paid the Metro PD for extra officers' overtime, right?

I think you also meant to ask how much business the almost 90,000 conventioneers brought into the Nashville economy. Every hotel, motel and B&B for miles was No Vacancy, every restaurant was filled to capacity and with long lines to get in, every honky-tonk and every other kind of entertainment venue was packed to the rafters. And that's to say nothing of the logistics and other vendor support for all the exhibitors. You're welcome.

Make no mistake about it, NRA's visit was very lucrative to the Music City!

I don't like it. I've always thought Tennessee has the most nondescript license plates, too.

I wonder if Jeremy Kane fucked Chelsea? They were an item somewhere in the past. Stanford?

I know, I know, she is ugly.

But, did you faithful liberals know this....scandalous! The new father-in-law is a serious crook and had to some time. I think he was out for the wedding? Well, the Clintons had quite a show in this million dollar wedding.

Re: “We sent a dyed-in-the-wool progressive to the NRA convention. Here's what he saw.

@ Scott:

"Laws such as "stand your ground" are an assault on the judicial system, allowing a murderer to walk free because they were afraid for their life even if they were not actually threatened." They are nothing of the sort, and you are merely regurgitating the lies of the anti-gun left.

"These problems ..." They are not problems, they are solutions, and state after state is enacting Castle Doctrine as well.

"...an attempt to fix the current loopholes which was favored by 80 some percent of the country..." Again, regurgitating the official talking points of the gun grabbers' front, based on recycled false polling.

"...but statistics show that more harm is done in incidents where a civilian carrying a weapon "protected" themselves." Annnnd the lies just coming and coming!!! There are no such "statistics" that say that, but if you repeat the lie often enough...

"...they keep yelling that democrats are going to take your guns." Well, they are not going to, but only because we will not let them! That does not mean they don't want to. We are talking about Democrats such as Obama, who said "I don't believe people should be able to own guns" in 1995, when he was not running for president telling us what we want to hear, and Democrats such as Feinstein, who said "If I could have gotten 51 votes in the Senate of the United States for an outright ban, picking up every one of them . . . Mr. and Mrs. America, turn 'em all in, I would have done it" on 60 Minutes, and Democrats such as Hillary, who said "there are too many guns" and supported a national registry and a "smart gun" requirement, and Democrats such as Joe Biden who—well, his anti-gun gaffes du jour are the gift that just keeps on giving. The list goes on and on, and if you believe that there are not lots of Democrat politicians (and their lackeys in the media) who want to do just that, you need to take off your blinders and put on your glasses.

"...the amount of dislike for the NRA is more than warranted. More needs to be said and done to combat their power." BWAHAHA! You know that you people are losing the war, you are desperate and it scares the living hell out of you. GOOD! Quake in your boots, you coward—we will not be bullied!
