only religious myth believers persecute gays.
Great article. He did play "Lovely Rita" in Memphis last month though. It was a great surprise.

Sounds like you decided it was going to suck before even attending the show. Mediocre writing as well.
I loved that show!
So someone who hates Tosh was sent to review one of his shows? What a waste of everyone's time, including the reader.
In order: City House, Rolf and Daughters, Catbird Seat, Etch, Silo.
Still have not been to Husk in Nashville but I would put all my experiences at City House over the one in Charleston. Good to see so much love for City House here, looks to be the unanimous favorite.
in no particular order: Catbird Seat, Lockeland Table, Rolf & Daughters, Giovanni's, and Kayne Prime.
@Keith:
Polygamy is a different issue. "Traditional marriage" has historically allowed both polygamy and pedophilia, and if you think that it will be "polyamorous" couples taking advantage of polygamy, you're unusually optimistic. It will be men from conservative cultures marrying much younger women (some states allow marriage at 16) from the same cultures.
"'Who are usually the first people on the scene of a natural disaster?'
First responders, like fire fighters and police officers."
Union thugs FTW!
"Evangelicals really do suck at Christianity."
In the words of the inestimable George Bernard Shaw, "Christianity might be a good thing, if anyone ever tried it."
yes - but the quality of the webcast is pretty bad this year
"Godfather of 'no spin'", my ass. Bill spins so fast and so often that he generates his own gravitational field.
w00t! Channel 5 is doing some actual journalism! We are pleased.
Oh yeah, Barbara Please has a point, and I forgot to add Hot Diggity Dog to my Top 5! They are so good!
"The First Amendement rights are so easy even a caveman can understand it. So clearly the GOP has not yet evolved to caveman intelligence levels."
We all know how liberals regard First Amendment rights - "Free speech for me, but not for thee."
"As statee before, the SBC is out to crush any and all opposition to it's dogmatic (non)reality in true Nixonian mode! Perhaps the will promote their own version of little brown shirt warriors (RA's ?)for a Theocratic Plutocracy where freedom and civil rights exist ONLY for them and other WASP cadres of exclusionary social engineering."
You truly are a moron of epic proportion.
"O’Reilly is just one of the talking heads guarding the inhabitants of Bullsh*t Mountain from rejoining the world of the sane. Fox News is a propaganda machine which dumbs down America by the day through disinformation and their slanted agendas."
Unlike MSNBC, CNN, ABC, CBS, and NBC, right? Chris Matthews is just a news reporter, right?
GMAFB
"Maybe they get angry because deep down inside they know they are just being LGBT so they can draw attention to themselves by being naughty." It's good to be reminded now and then that there is pretty much no way to underestimate Gast's class and sympathy for humans the slightest bit different from him. I won't comment on other comments on this post because I didn't read any of them. Gast happened to be at the bottom of the first page--the bottom, of course, being a fine place for him.
What is it about the human mind that makes us (some of us) think it's worth paying between $77 and $127 to see in person people who will be doing pretty much the same stuff they do on television we can see for free? I have a hard enough time understanding it with bands. This...well. What a total sucker you've got to be to pay $77, let alone buy a "VIP" package.
Let's revisit at the end of June.
Re: “Paul McCartney at Bonnaroo's What Stage, 6/14/13”
great to see Sir Paul but I was disappointed he didn't deviate at all from the standard set-list he is using for his current tour. That includes the Foxy Lady "jam" and even the stories he tells between songs. Having said that, it's hard to argue with the mix of classics and deep cuts he performed.
