Re: “Nashville jazz drummer Marcus Finnie flexes his versatility on new disc; Gary Giddins' film criticism remains a delight

This CD is BAD! Every song is unique and special in its own right but my most favorites are Spirit of '79, Reflect and 5/4 Grace. Can't seem to get this one out of my CD rotation in my car.

Re: “Updates on jazz vocalist Monica Ramey and the Rev. Keith A. Gordon

Yes, Monica is terrific. We've known it since she was an undergraduate student at Indians State University and are delighted with her popularity AND integrity. (Sherry Dailey)

Marcus is a mushroom. There's a root that's connected to all the great music of Black America––specifically his native Memphis––and then the delicious top spreads in so many tasty directions, from traditional jazz to classical to country to ... well you get the picture. AND HE CAN PLAY SOOOOOOOOOFFFFFT! Oh, and he's a pretty awesome chef too. Ask him about it.
