Caleb Followill abandons the segue tour to raise his son in the Hawaiian jungle.
"But Paul can't trump Jesus."
Tell that to the Baptists.
Jesus addressed the needs of the poor and unfortunate; it's doubtful he thought of the lazy as being "least among" us. Paul addressed the lazy. As for Lenin, he was declaring all citizens to be slaves to the state, an idea that always rings positive in the ears of liberals.
Riding Along With a Towson University Student’s ‘White Patrol’
(p.2 "...Addie, a senior from Nashville")
http://www.thedailybeast.com/articles/2013…
"Heimbach and five others are gathered at the Red Robin in Towson for pre-patrol beers and burgers. Four of the people there are “executive members” of the White Student Union—meaning they help organize and lead the group. Heimbach sits proudly at the head of the table, sporting a tight-fitting Youth for Western Civilization T-shirt and two necklaces: one a short chain with a small medallion that hits his collarbone and the other a cross with a circle behind it that sits right on his chest. He introduces his team by first name only. Paddy, a Towson junior from Baltimore, is his right-hand man. Short but built, his head shaved, he speaks calmly but passionately about his desire to see the creation of a white “ethnostate,” free from the ruin of multiculturalism. To Paddy's right is his fiancée, Addie, a senior from Nashville who deplores feminism and credits Paddy with introducing her to the movement..."
Bobs, if that's what you think you're saying about black people, you're terribly delusional.
You're labeled a racist because you say racist things about people of other races.
Where's mommy going?
Maybe he has a dream.
@Anglerdr: Your words: "There are some fine Mormons. There are some POS Mormons. They're just people; their religion is pretty much beside the point.'
When I say something similar about African-Americans I'm labeled a racist. Imagine that.
I thought that these sorts of students were called "College Republicans"...
@Jim Collins: You cite happenstances and then give erroneous reasons and chronology of causations. You haven't got a clue.
I love the smell of baby powder in the morning, smells like.... victory..
I reckon maybe I shoulda double bagged it.
As an FYI the comments to the Chronicle article indicate this occurs with other states, too. It appears that the potential fee to TN is much higher than most. The comments also say that some states charge out-of-state colleges money to send emails to residents of the state.
That doesn't excuse the blatant money-grab from the government.
That was a nice little ditty "Gold Man". / An added interest: I recently learned about drummer Chester Thompson in a songwriting class at FT. Campbell, KY taught by a successful Nashville based songwriter. Two fellow students in the class are in the 101st Airborne Division Army Band and they recommended I try to go see Chester at a show at F Scotts in Nashville. They also told me Chester played with Frank Zappa and Phil Collins and he teaches at Belmont University. Here's his web site, www.chesterthompson.com . He's on tour in Europe this month and a few days into June but when he gets back to his home in Nashville I hope you will look Chester up "Gold Man", do an interview with him, bring along a Nashville Scene photographer to take some pictures and give us all an update on this very successful jazz/gospel/pop/rock drummer. Once the guys in the army band told me about Chester and I did my research on him I became very fascinated the we have such a great musician living amongst us and I doubt a lot of music folks around the music town know about Chester. Since all 3 of Third Man Records' head honchos (Jack White, Ben Swank and Ben Blackwell) are all drummers I dropped TMR a little note to say they may want to get to know Chester personally and do some stuff with him at TMR. I would love for you to do an interview with him and share that with us and for TMR to bring him in to record...maybe even do a "live" show in the Blue Room, inviting all the successful young rockers that are now living in the Music City.
You know who loved that particular piece of the Bible? Lenin. Dude couldn't stop quoting it. He used it in "State and The Revolution." Hell, it's in the Soviet Constitution. You can look it up, right there in Article XII.
"In the USSR work is a duty and a matter of honor for every able-bodied citizen, in accordance with the principle: 'He who does not work, neither shall he eat.'"
How about the most Laughable sweeps story of all: Nick ___ on Channel 5 some years back with his planted cameras at Panama City Beach for "Spring Break." What a silly hoot that one turned out to be. Similar to the Capone Vault fiasco.
I must say Channel 4 has improved their stories over the last couple of yrs to more important items. Those by the Amos gal were the worst.
A gratuitous assertion, Frau Greta. Did the Fuehrer tell you that?
If you really want somebody to know something, you could just tell them.
I hate when they tell me that there's something really damned important that I cannot LIVE without knowing, but they're not going to show it to me until 10. Bull.
