Re: “Murfreesboro's proposed Islamic community center has become a magnet for anti-Islamic fervor far beyond the city limits

Wow Jonathan, you sound like you're really mad at bigoted, incestuous, uneducated hillbilly cowards like me. I better stay anonymous. Why would someone with a German name be celebrating diversity and frothing at the keyboard at the same time? Must be a fake name.

Re: “Murfreesboro's proposed Islamic community center has become a magnet for anti-Islamic fervor far beyond the city limits

Look at all the bigoted, hillbilly cowards hiding behind anonymous screen names on a website. You have got to be two of the most ignorant fools around. Timothy McVeigh was a Christian zealot just as much as the Saudi men on 9/11 were Muslim nutjobs. Do the Amish make you to dress like you are from the 1800s and force you to not have electricity? Don't follow the teachings of a religion if you don't want to, but you also can't force someone to basically believe the same thing you do. Celebrate diversity and down with incest you backwoods, uneducated inbreds.

Re: “Murfreesboro's proposed Islamic community center has become a magnet for anti-Islamic fervor far beyond the city limits

My grandparents were Christians in Northern Ireland. She was Protestant, and he was Catholic. They had to flee after death threats.
I volunteered and joined the Army, and I served as an 11B Infantryman. Most of my time in the field was in squad or platoon size operations. We would have discussions about what we were fighting for. It always came back to the “Bill of Rights”. To me the most important was “Congress shall make no law respecting an establishment of religion, or prohibiting the free exercise thereof…”
What did our Founding Fathers have to say about religion:
"Question with boldness even the existence of a god." - Thomas Jefferson (letter to Peter Carr, 10 August 1787):
"All natural institutions of churches, whether Jewish, Christian, or Turkish, appear to me no other than human inventions, set up to terrify and enslave mankind, and monopolize power and profit." Thomas Paine, The Age of Reason;
"Religion and government will both exist in greater purity, the less they are mixed together.", John Madison;
“Lighthouses are more helpful than Churches”, Benjamin Franklin

Re: “Murfreesboro's proposed Islamic community center has become a magnet for anti-Islamic fervor far beyond the city limits

I've figured out how to get the Nashville Scene against the Islamic mosque in Murfreesboro.

They can just name it the "Maytown Center" and the Scene will make up every excuse under the sun to justify why it shouldn't exist.

Re: “Murfreesboro's proposed Islamic community center has become a magnet for anti-Islamic fervor far beyond the city limits

I agree that the writer of this article knows nothing about the methods the Muslim leadership is using to infiltrate America. They learned years ago that they couldn't take us over by overt force. So for several decades, they have encouraged their people to move to America and slowly and quietly take over through the political system! I have no doubt that our founding fathers did not have in mind allowing people that want to destroy us and subjugate us to their religious laws to be qualified as Americans. America is about separation of State & Church!

Make NO MISTAKE, when the Muslim religious leaders across the country tell their members it is time to Take Over, EVERYONE of them will arise. Not to do so would mean their own death!!! You can NOT partially believe the Koran any more than you can partially believe the BIBLE!!

Re: “Murfreesboro's proposed Islamic community center has become a magnet for anti-Islamic fervor far beyond the city limits

The writer is a MORON. He tries to educate the public before understanding even one thing about the issue. He refuses to open his eyes to reality because he is so blinded by his liberalism.

REad the Koran and visit....

www.ActforAmerica.com
www.CreepingSharia.com
www.JihadWatch

After you get educated, then come back and make comments. Don't be like the MORON writer of the article (blind leading the blind).

Re: “Murfreesboro's proposed Islamic community center has become a magnet for anti-Islamic fervor far beyond the city limits

The writer understands that we live in the US and that Americans, to continue to be Americans and to support our Constitituion, cannot base hateful words and actions on revenge. How many of us have died for freedom in this country? At no point was that freedom contingent on reciprocity.

This person is an uneducated MORON.

Read the Koran and study what is happening in Europe and evaluate the daily occurrences of SUBVERSION of the US Constitution by Creeping Shariah law in the US.

Re: “In his new book, Harold Ford Jr. throws his former allies under the bus

Another self-serving tale that rivals the fiction of a Harry Potter story.

At least he left Tennessee. Count your blessings where they fall.

Unfortunately, Chattanooga is full of politicians I wish were in New York. We in the process of recalling Mayor Littlefield for his corruption. He's the chosen ruler of ex-State Senator Ward Crutchfield, another dancer from the Tennessee Waltz scandal.

If Nashville gets a bus load to send to New York, we'll give you gas money if you'll take our current crop of miscreants.

Re: “In his new book, Harold Ford Jr. throws his former allies under the bus

To judge by the previous comments, a hair-pulling, eye-gouging catfight over a long-gone Ford, Jr. has commenced. Amazin' when a guy(?!!) inspires other guys to engage in a metaphorical brawl over him. Always thought that the girls were supposed to do the same thing over a fella and for real.

Really CDJ? I somehow doubt it. I detest Junior. He has cold, cold eyes. Great job, Woods.

Re: “In his new book, Harold Ford Jr. throws his former allies under the bus

"More Davids Than Goliaths" is now a New York Times Best Seller. It is ranked number 20 for the week ending August 19 --not bad for a book that has only been out for two weeks. Furthermore, the book doesn't trash anyone. Ford talks honestly about his time in politics and the book is dedicated to the voters of the 9th District of Tennessee. Woods is just an angry guy who has never liked Ford. "More Davids Than Goliaths" is a terrific read. Everyone should read it and all will be proud of Ford, especially Tennesseans.

Woods, every now and then, your haphazard rooting turns up an acorn. Good job.

Re: “As the ostensible Democrat tries running to the right of his GOP rival, Tennessee voters face the prospect of one unhappy meal Jeff Woods

This is one liberal who will vote for a tea-party conservative before a tea-party Democrat in a heart beat. This is an election that statewide Dems need to lose, folks.

Re: “As the ostensible Democrat tries running to the right of his GOP rival, Tennessee voters face the prospect of one unhappy meal Jeff Woods

Big Daddy Junior's strategy -- or does he pronounce it "stra-te-gery" like another Dim Son -- is what caused the big-booted rooster and the rabid hamster to lose in the Rethugligan primary. Talk about choking on pretzel logic ....

Earth to Big Daddy Junior -- Haslam won the Rethug primary because most Tennesseans don't want Tea-hadist values representing and running our government, regardless of whether they have a "D" or an "R"behind their names.

Howard Switzer has my vote, and it's a far more serious vote than the one I gave to Basil in the primary. I think we all expect that Haslam has the election in the bag (probably his own bag). But, hey, Switzer is a loser I can believe in, unlike another anti-gay, anti-progressive tax, inexperienced, clueless, gun-fallating creationist that is an embarrassment to Democrats (and democrats) everywhere.

If you are a real progressive, vote Switzer. Let's put Big Daddy Junior in third place at the end of this whore's race. Maybe then the party of Andrew Jackson will get the blood transfusion it so desperately needs.

Feel free to ask me what I really think. Anytime.

Re: “As the ostensible Democrat tries running to the right of his GOP rival, Tennessee voters face the prospect of one unhappy meal Jeff Woods

Mr. McWherter's campaign strategy, coupled with recent rhetoric from the White House about "drug testing" anybody complaining about Obama from a progressive perspective, is just one more reason why any progressive with a spine should vote for Howard Switzer, the Green Party gubernatorial candidate. He makes a lot more sense than Haslam or McWherter, and far more sense than Mr. Reesor. Had enough of Tweedledee and Tweedledum politics in Tennessee? It's time to give center-right Democrats a thumping they won't forget!

FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE
10 August 2010

Tennessee White Horse Independent
Gubernatorial Candidate James Reesor
Believes Satan Controls Tennessee

NASHVILLE, Tenn. – "Politics in Tennessee is too corrupt to fix; Convincing Satan to repent of sin would be easier. Voting machines in Tennessee are rigged; Winners are hand-picked in smoke-filled rooms by greedy bankers and arrogant business owners with connections to computer hackers. Political degenerates rise to the top in the traditional two-party political system; Idealistic political reformers are ostracized, slandered, and persecuted. Wicked Democrats and Republicans despise right-wing Christian conservatives and Independents; Evil liberals lust after politicians who write stupid laws against the sanctity of life and trust in God. Tolerance for rebellious souls who break universal laws by serving false gods is politically correct; Christians who talk to lost souls about Jesus are accused of committing a hate crime. Hard-working taxpayers are treated like low-wage slaves in Tennessee; Criminals in prison are treated like kings and queens. Media propaganda creates clones that act like robots; Anyone with an original thought is believed to be from outer space. I have no confidence in the Tennessee political system; Too many blind, deaf, and dumb elitist bigots are journalists. Voting is a waste of time; Trying to stay informed about political campaigns is proof of insanity. Freedom to do evil is a popular idea in 2010; Freedom to serve Lord Jesus Christ in public places is no longer a civil right that is respected by American liberals, atheists or Muslims. Credit card debt makes slaves out of poor people; Unemployment leads to bankruptcy for those who can afford a lawyer. Incompetent liars run the media; Gullible people believe bad news is good news. Rich people control corrupt politicians; Corrupt politicians control governments. Move to Tennessee to get away from high taxes; Move to Mexico to get away from illegal aliens. Smart people know they are stupid; Idiots think they are smart. People with common sense understand the difference between right and wrong; People with common sense would rather stay home than vote for clowns who make promises they never keep. Satan and his friends changed the American dream into a nightmare; A few of us Christians woke up screaming and are mad as hell," James Reesor said
