Re: “A lavish rite of teenage passage opens a window onto Middle Tennessee's Hispanic communities — and their growing economic power

Start working at home with Google! It's by-far the best job I've had. Last Wednesday I got a brand new BMW since getting a check for $6474 this - 4 weeks past. I began this 8-months ago and immediately was bringing home at least $77 per hour. I work through this link, go to tech tab for work detail.

Quince anos? I think I counted more than fifteen at that party. Growing economic power? Just keep thinking those good thoughts, you good little consumers. What are these girls going to look like in ten years? Fat fat fat! You can tell by the mass of the shoulders. Peasants dreaming of luxury.

Re: “For a teen’s impulsive, unthinkable act, Cyntoia Brown got an adult’s life sentence. Was justice served?

Most of us would have shot in the same situation, the ones who didn't would probably be regretting it the next time they were raped.

Further you didn't read then story. It talks about the financial strain that the parties put on families. Mr Angel is not rich, he is a landscaper, he contributed $2000 and relatives chipped in the rest.

While I too think its a lot of money to spend on anything, I think we should get out of the habbit of telling people we perceive as poor what to spend money on.People make budget choices all the time and know their finances better than anyone else. Maybe they'll never be able to save up enough to make a dent in the things you mentioned, but can save a few grand to throw a party that seems important to their daughter, community and family.

Re: “To Have, But Not To Hold

This was not merely a murder it was heinous in the fact they mutilated the young man's body.

Re: “Can the people Nashville hopes to attract afford to move here? And can the residents who made it desirable afford to stay?

I lived in Madison for 20 years and left when rents went through the roof with no added amenities or higher wages. All of Davidson county schools are old and bottom of the barrel in ratings. Uniforms dont really help the growing gang and racial problems. Schools are not safe there anymore or offer a decent education, unless you want to add several hundred dollars per child a month to your rent to send them all to private schools, which is the growing trend. Blue collar jobs have all left, Rivergate Mall is becoming a ghosttown as a result and Madison is now crawling with undercover cops trying to control the growing drug problems. The intercity structure has not developed so extensively as bigger cities with subways and rails which leave the highways a parking lot during rush hours. No regrets leaving IT

Re: “A lavish rite of teenage passage opens a window onto Middle Tennessee's Hispanic communities — and their growing economic power

i hope these parties are reserved for the truly affluent. if you have to put it on a credit card, don't have money set aside for emergencies, or are not saving enough money for your retirement or to help with your child's education, you can't afford this, and it becomes an ugly, tragic, debt-ridden waste of money.

If I didn't pay taxes and insurance, and sold my business to cousin Paco every 7 years to continue no taxes I could afford one bad ass party!!!

Re: “Embracing LGBT members may have saved Franklin's GracePointe church — or destroyed it

I am disappointed in the leadership of GracePointe. What a sham! Melissa Greene was a negative influence on the church almost from the time she arrived. No doubt she can sing amazingly well, but spiritually and ethically she was always lacking as an example. Did she corrupt Stan? Did Stan augment her corruption? No doubt, together they are toxic in a church environment. Hubris run amuck, is the least of their transgressions.

I'm loving the enraged callouts on this year's YASNI thread. Would've made much better submissions than something about hot chicken

J.R., so you agree with Yoyo Moi when he says most of Coates' ideas are "'blame whitey for everything' diatribes"?
