Re: “The Cash Legacy pays homage to The Man in Black with a large and talented cast

Excellent talent, great arrangements, understandable storyline, and all around wonderful experience! Highly recommend. Kudos to Studio Ten! This was my second time in the Factory venue and I love the relaxed, intimate atmosphere.

There are a legion of pretenders, but there was only one Man in Black.

Re: “The Cash Legacy pays homage to The Man in Black with a large and talented cast

This was an exciting show with a great ensemble. The voices were varied yet complimentary, from broadway to Americana, and the reviewer was spot on - the band brought it. Congrats to Studio Tenn!

My last pay check was $9500 working 12 hours a week online. My sisters friend has been averaging 15k for months now and she works about 20 hours a week. I can't believe how easy it was once I tried it out. This is what I do,,,,>>.

Re: “Circle Players and TSU's production of Ragtime ambitiously charges forward

This production raised the bar for community theater. I find myself attending community theater performances with expectations lowered to account for common issues of inability to fully realize the acting/singing/dancing requirements of the principles and chorus, limited budgets and limited rehearsal time.

Tim Larson and his ensemble surpassed every expectation. His staging was Spartan, but incorporated innovative, focused design and functionality. The use of movable scaffolding providing full 3d use of the theatrical space. The beautifully detailed 3d model of the New Rochelle house was stunning. As for acting and singing, I wanted to sit there after the matinee performance to wait and see the evening performance as well.

Thanks to Tim Larson, his cast, musical ensemble and crew, and to Tennessee State University, for an unforgettable, and sometimes tearful, afternoon in the theater.

Re: “Nashville Children's Theatre's production of James and the Giant Peach is led by a strong cast — and some technical wizardry

Not doubting Mr. Brady's theatrical knowledge or vigor, yet must disagree with his comment on the lack of tactile consideration Nashville Children's Theatre's staff takes in this, and indeed, each and every production shared with its Middle Tennessee's community. Puppets designed by one of the nation's greatest hand sewn by NCT's own Kim Townsend , costumes that are always conceived and stitched in-house by Patricia Taber and Katie Sellers, scene imagery created from hand cut pieces of paper layered upon each other to create the moving images on the screen by the recognized Colin Peterson...It is difficult, and totally unexpected, for an audience member to know the details involved in a full musical production. And although Nashville is full of opportunities for theatrical experiences, I do expect those whose job is it to report on them to do it with knowledge. I am certain that Artistic Producing Director, Scot Copeland, would be happy to take your call.

Re: “Chaffin's Barn mounts Ain't Misbehavin', with mixed results

Hope this show (Aint Misbehavin) will come back soon. The talent is GREAT. Was my first visit, Will also be coming to the next show (Gone but not forgotten). I love this place. Hope everyone will experience coming out to the big red barn.

Re: “KB Productions mounts a fabulous production of Peter Shaffer's Equus

"Artful," "Elegant," "Purposeful" are words that will never belong with sexual deviance and perversion.

Equus is the epitome of lewd: "Behavior that is deemed morally impure or unacceptable in a sexual sense; open and public indecency tending to corrupt the morals of the community; gross or wanton indecency in sexual relations."

This play created a stench that infected the entire city. "Shameful," "Shocking," "Offensive," "Vile," and "Triple-X Rated" would have been apt words to describe it.

Please note: The Actor's Gang hosted their workshop at Charles Bass Correctional Complex and not Riverbend Maximum Security Institution.

Re: “Chaffin's Barn mounts Ain't Misbehavin', with mixed results

This article is less than descriptive about this amazing show and talent. My husband and I had a wonderful night out at Chaffins and enjoyed this show very much. The caliber of talent we saw could have been on any professional stage. Too bad there's only 4 or 5 in town. These "community theater actors" were thrilling and entertaining.

Re: “The seventh president gets the musical parody treatment in Bloody Bloody Andrew Jackson at Street Theatre Company

Ha - me too, but not from the play. It inspired me to go read up on AJ some more. Of course everyone knows about the trail of tears and impregnating slaves, but I wanted to go see how much of the other stuff is accurate.
