Re: “There'll be no absolution for the man suing the Sisters at Aquinas College for reverse discrimination

Blizzard, I heard that the hate-mail in Blizzard's box was the doing of two female nursing students in his class. I won't say their names but there initials are: SS & LB. Hope this helps Blizzard out. People talk.

Re: “There'll be no absolution for the man suing the Sisters at Aquinas College for reverse discrimination

To standupgirl, you commented, "..he (Blizzard) quite often used his size to intimidate or belittle his prey." To that I say, REALLY? Belittle his prey? Can you be anymore dramatic? A blatant lie, I'm sure. How do I know? Because, I spoke with a male nursing student from Aquinas, who is tall, muscular, and attractive, (FYI: Blizzard's exact profile) and he told me that after he was 'physically' and 'sexually' attacked by five female Aquinas nursing students, who left training in the hospital in the middle of clinical and began drinking 'alcohol with their Aquinas Clinical instructor' at Chillis Restaurant (Instructors drinking alcohol with female students. What?) went to the female administrators and made up a bold-faced lie that this male Aquinas nursing student had attacked them. The female administrators began to immediately work with the female students, and started proceedings to have that male nursing student dismissed (kicked out of nursing school). However, what the 'female dogs' at Aquinas didn't expect to learn was that one of the female nursing students who had attacked the male nursing student was a White Female of Russian descent, a bisexual lesbian, who had literally stalked the male victims sister two years earlier and had a physical record that reflected it. The administrators never punished the female nursing students for lying. Why? Because they work together like wolves. Now, nobody just makes a story like this one up. It's just too real. After learning this, and reading about Blizzard's case, there is no doubt in my mind Aquinas is a pack-mentality and the females are a bunch of hostile predators, and the males are their targets, and whipping boys. So, 'standupgirl' why don't you sit down and shut up, lil girl!

Re: “There'll be no absolution for the man suing the Sisters at Aquinas College for reverse discrimination

SRN, your words were "Mr. Blizzard, you need to take responsibility for your actions. Get over yourself and grow up. Don't try to say you were discriminated against because you are male." Evidently there were a lot of nursing girls who were unable to 'GET OVER' the fact that Blizzard was not interested in them, and he flat-out rejected them despite there numerous solicitations and desperate overtures. Chances are you are one of Blizzard's disgruntled rejects. As well, did you read the article. A male-to-male swap is 'blatant discrimination.' And the evidence of discrimination and retaliation doesn't stop there. Maybe you can't read? Or, maybe your just another female nursing student who was apart of the pack of female nursing students in collusion with female administrators who tried to get Blizzard kicked out. Guess what, you failed!

I know Blizzard. He's a good guy. Very smart too. I am disturbed by the 'Blizzard-Bashing' here, but if I know Blizzard's just amuzed I'm sure, if I know him. He'll get his day in court soon, and the truth will certainly come out. Shame on Aquinas employees and students who campaigned to railroad him. Aquinas and all students accountable.

Re: “There'll be no absolution for the man suing the Sisters at Aquinas College for reverse discrimination

This college is awful! I spent tens of thousands of dollars in their so-called education program and five years of hard work only to be told NINE WEEKS by my academic advisor that she didn't think teaching was "my gift," and they ended up failing me. I now have a 67K student loan to pay back. Luckily, I moved back home and now have a very good paying job. These instructors (especially the habit wearing variety) are indeed corrupt, liars, and only out to get your money. I asked if I could receive another type of degree in lieu of the license, and was told 'NO' we can't do that. They were out to fail me because like other student they have failed in the past, I didn't fit their little Catholic mold and do things to their liking. They can't be trusted. Stay far away from this school! Don't be stupid and waste your time and money for nothing, like I did. By the way, they may be looking at another lawsuit, placed by yours truly!!

Re: “There'll be no absolution for the man suing the Sisters at Aquinas College for reverse discrimination

Problem #1: This religious school gets Federal tax dollars.

Problem #2: This man was told he had to swap with a further away facility. Why? No rhyme or reason. Whim of petty administrators who don't want people questioning them.

Problem #3: They have security bullies personally going to this guy's home to intimidate him. Doesn't that bother anyone?

Problem #4: If disciplinary papers existed before any of this student's rightful actions, wher are they now as proof, with his signature verifying remediation prior to their retaliation?

Problem #5: Why didn't the school investigate the note in his box? Despite the crazy claims here he did it himself (like many blacks put their own burning crosses on their yards in days gone by?), the school has a duty to investigate harassment of students and libelous, derogatory claims.

Seriously. Think about it. He borrows Federal student loan money and is entitled to finish the program under a contract of admission, with fair and equal treatment. They can't arbitrarily change the terms as they go. Nothing to do with his attitude. Everything to do with their duty as an institution accepting public tax dollars.

Re: “There'll be no absolution for the man suing the Sisters at Aquinas College for reverse discrimination

Mr. Hargrove's article is a model of succinct, accurate, fact-based commentary on an issue that should be of considerable importance.

Imagine, for a moment, that the gender roles were reversed. Imagine that "Suzanne Rainstorm" enrolled to study medicine in a Catholic medical school run by priests.
Slightly unconventional, iconoclastic, and with above average intelligence, she refused to be browbeaten out of her dream of a medical education. So the priests engaged in what looked suspiciously like behavior designed to get rid of her.

Good grief, people would be lined up around the block to support "Suzanne Rainstorm"! Title IX lawsuits would be sprouting like weeds!

I suspect strongly that it is precisely because Mr. Blizzard is a "Mr.", and nursing is a female-dominated profession, he's getting roughed up.

If there's anything a Catholic nun can't stand, it's a man with a 3-digit IQ questioning her almighty authority. In my opinion, due to the priests hogging the limelight, the general abusiveness of nuns (especially toward young boys in schools) is a topic our society has yet to turn to.
Countless men are survivors of abuse by Catholic clergy,
and quite a few of them were abused by nuns.

I'll close with a bit of family history. When my mother entered the hospital to give birth to me, she was suffering from pneumonia and had lost about 15 pounds. A "helpful" nun-nurse came up to her bedside, pulled back the sheet, and said "Young Lady, You're going to lose that baby." Nothing like a great bedside manner!

Aquinas needs a thorough investigation. Great article, Mr. Hargrove.

Re: “There'll be no absolution for the man suing the Sisters at Aquinas College for reverse discrimination

This is really disturbing. "Then, on April 9, three cars carrying four Aquinas College employees showed up at Blizzard's house, claiming they'd arrived to hand-deliver letters from the school's administration, the complaint says. Among those in the cars, Blizzard says, was head of campus security Alan Bradley, who did not respond to an interview request. " This conduct by Aquinas employees alone is inflammatory. If my son's college treated him this way, I would sue too.

BattleCat: gast is clearly paranoid, and likely an employee at Aqinas. good insight. the other comments form gast were very suspicious and hostile, and 'insider' biased too. after reading your comment I noticed that every person against Blizzard is completely irrational, insulting, profane, and ghetto. But, every person commenting in favor of Blizzard is logical and rational, and clearly read the article.

Other, you stated: "I did not see evidence of discrimination at Aquinas. A lesbian woman won awards and a black gay man was in a clinical with me and I never saw him being treated differently than me." This is referred to in business as 'Window Dressing!' Thought you might like to know why you were fooled. Now you know.

Re: “There'll be no absolution for the man suing the Sisters at Aquinas College for reverse discrimination

Lindsley Baird, you stated: WHOA WHOA WHOA!!!!! I'll tell my name--Lindsley Baird--- PROUD effin Graduate of Aquinas College--MAY 2010---and thank god not with this douche bag "Blizzard"... GET OVER IT KID! we never talked and I'm thankful for that! What, you and your girl think you were the only attractive "male" in this class?? And that's why you got this "horrible treatment"?? Eat shit dude, you'll lose, no one wins against the Sisters. Can't believe the Scene even published this article. They are talking to an IDIOT! Deuces people." You're comment strongly indicates that you are an extremely 'trashy' and pimordial individual. You literally admit that you never spoke ("we never talked") with Blizzard in your comment above. Yet, you have nothing but hatred for Blizzard? So much 'toxic hatred' in fact that you publicly berate the man's character? What's wrong with this picture? It's no wonder Blizzard is suing Aquinas. Ms. Baird, if you are any indication of the aquinas mindset and culture I have no reason to doubt Blizzard's claims, especially after reading your highly emotional, toxic and prejudice comment attacking Blizzard's character. By the way, you literally handed Blizzzard's law firm your identity. I'm sure you're on the list of people they are going to depose. Are you going to tell Blizzard's attorney's that "no one wins against the sisters," and to 'Eat Shit Dude?' lol Very disingenuous Ms. Baird. I would say good luck to Blizzard, but I seriously doubt he'll need any.

Re: “There'll be no absolution for the man suing the Sisters at Aquinas College for reverse discrimination

To abcde regarding your comment: "I was a classmate to Jason and know what really went on. The guy is a complete idiot! He always looked for the easy way out... I'm not shocked that he has a lawsuit against the school. I remember the day the "letter" in his mailbox appeared. If the truth is known about it he probably wrote the letter himself; that's just the type of person he is." I know Blizzard personally, he's been a friend of mine for many, many years. I live in California. He and I worked together on a start-up venture. The guy is brilliant. If you doubt this, ask yourself why his case is going to trial? It's because the defense was unable to get the case dismissed. And believe me, any decent defense attorney immediately tries to get the Plaintiff's case thrown out. Aquinas clearly underestimated Blizzard. And, it was a big mistake trying to push Blizzard around. He holds four college degrees. He graduated with 'Dean's Honors' with an accounting degree, (doubtful abcde can even add and subtract) based on his/her lack of grammar skills. I'm guessing however, abcde is a female. Blizzard graduated with honors in business Management. He single-handedly brought a California based company out of bankruptcy by employing raw talent, smarts, and savvy. Need I go on? There is a lot more accolades I assure you. The article is spot on when it makes mention of how savvy Blizzard is. I have known Blizzard for over twenty years, and I am appalled at how Aquinas treated him. He is beyond competent. He's on another level people. You have know idea what you are dealing with. Question for abcde: If you know what went on with Blizzard then I'm sure you are prepared to testify for Aquinas, under penalty of perjury? I'm sure you will be ready when Blizzard's attorney subpoena's you for a seven-hour deposition? Do you even understand what is coming? I don't think any of you do. This is going to be a very 'public trial.' Blizzard and his law firm will make sure all of the key players (students and employees) are brought to justice. The fact that Aquinas deliberately chose not to investigate the hate-mail in Blizzard's box that accused Blizzard of being a "fag!" is just a testament to the type of malicious male-bashing culture Aquinas fosters and encourages, and how Aquinas was complicit in all the abuse administered by the female students and employees to Blizzard. In fact, I would venture a guess that Aquinas was definitely working with the students to try and oust Blizzard. Finally, you clearly don't know this man, but I do, and I assure you, Aquinas picked a fight with the wrong guy.

Re: “There'll be no absolution for the man suing the Sisters at Aquinas College for reverse discrimination

Wow! Half these comments are so hostile toward Blizzard that Blizzard was obviously quite a 'stud' and legally savvy to take on this 'pack' of hostile bullies so effectively. Way to go nurse Blizzard. People who bring law suits like this are heroes. Every 'Blizzard-Hater' should watch the documentary Hot Coffee. As well, a good site to begin understanding just how immersed the nursing culture is in being 'white' and 'Female' and staying that way is:

Here is a piece from an interview from the above-referenced site: "Every other profession has changed except nursing. We’re suffering from a teachers’ shortage. If you look at the advertisements for teachers, they feature minorities. They feature men. It’s not presented as a gender," Wilson said. "If you look at what nursing presents itself as, it presents itself as a gender. We’re women. In fact, we’re Caucasian women."

Re: “There'll be no absolution for the man suing the Sisters at Aquinas College for reverse discrimination

If anyone doubts that males are literally bullied out of nursing programs by nursing instructor's read the situation below involving a "Nun" nursing educator who admits that males in nursing literally "sickens" her. I have no doubt Blizzards case will be a landmark case if Aquinas is foolish enough to go to trial.

***The shift supervisor for OR services, a Mercy nun, would make Miller leave the OR every couple of hours to rescrub. A surgeon noticed the abuse, reprimanded her for her behavior and, according to Miller, said to the nun, "I don’t know what your problem is with him. I don’t like long hair either. But I’m telling you right now it’s unconscionable the way you’re riding him."

The nun later admitted that she didn’t like men in nursing. According to Miller, she said, "I don’t like long hairs. And when you put them [men and long hairs] together, they just make me sick."

Re: “There'll be no absolution for the man suing the Sisters at Aquinas College for reverse discrimination

juche: In regards to your comment, "There are a lot of other places that offer degrees, and if Blizzard really wanted to be a nurse, perhaps he should have left at the first problem and gone on to get his degree elsewhere instead of being litigious and basing his future on whatever his settlement is." Maybe Blizzard would have left at that point, but unfortunately when AC retaliated, in writing, they specifically stated that if Blizzard had a problem with the sanctions imposed by Aquinas, and he chose to leave the nursing program, his official transcripts from Aquinas would show that he had been 'Officially dismissed' from the nursing program at Aquinas. This case is headed for trial, August of 2012, and it is 'open and shut.' Aquinas will have to answer for what they have done.
