Re: “This Logo Cost $46,000

I'm with El Commandante! Our state GOP is in total control and they know what they are doing (minus a certain RINO governor)! Obummer would have paid billions for that logo and would have raised taxes to pay for it! So I like it!

Barry waited too long to go up on the air, and her first commercial is a whiny attack ad? Stick a fork in this sow, she is done.

Hey everyone, what imaginary element in the periodic table do we stand for?

Re: “Lonnell Matthews is already being sized up for higher office — but first he has to win his at-large race

It sounds to me like he mostly pursues and appeals to other blacks. Jerry Maynard who is also black also supports him for being black and was talking about taking out ads and promoting Lonnell Matthews in black owned and run media like black radio stations. Matthews works with black kids. He might appeal to black voters. Maynard's story about getting white voters who didn't have a clue of who he was or what he stood for was downright creepy. People who vote for people they know nothing about shouldn't even be allowed to vote. Somehow I don't see most whites in a very conservative city voting for the former manager of a rapper (and other rappers) who sported a gold tooth up front and had a brother who got shot in a drug deal gone wrong as mayor. I certainly won't. My hometown of Atlanta was a wonderful place to grow up and live- until it became majority black and got a black mayor. A few years later it was named murder capital of the world and is now crime ridden. The same happened to New Orleans where some of my family is from. Perhaps he could run in one of those cities.

Re: “This Logo Cost $46,000

Why did we even need a new logo? And why is it so...boring. It's not bad, only "meh". Mediocre! Yes, that's what is! Mediocre, just like our state GOP.

elcommunist/john/whateverthehellitis is the only one here who has a hard on for people's weight. I'm really hoping he'll screw up and out himself as the basement dwelling, crusty socked cretin he most obviously is.

She filmed the flat screen segment on Kendall Drive off of White Bridge. Lots of cops directing traffic. I thought it was taping for "Nashville"

Why is no one speaking about all the talents & hard work of our Criminal Court Clerk and what a nice lady his mother was. He has ridden the great mom & dad reputations all the days of his easy life. He has promised if elected to take no more perks than say a Warren Buffet.

Just the mention of "NashForward" makes me check to see if I still have a wallet.
This logo must have come from MSNBC knockoff that wants the most liberal agenda
city in the South. Thankfully, last night's TV debates had some talking push back
on a 100 million dollar wall as well as 100+ million new jail & police headquarters.

Re: “This Logo Cost $46,000

Does the TN stand for "Tough Nuts" (if you get sick), "Those Nitwits" (if you are the legislature), or "Totally Nuts" if you are the teabaggers?
Here is a test: see if the Titans will wear them (for a price;of course they will.
The predators? - Find out how high fresh arterial blood spurts!
Would the General have flown this at Chalmette Battlefield against the British on 8-January?
(More arterial blood spurt.) General N.B. Forrest? Would vomit after his Colt Army stopped.

According to the Urban Dictionary, "chode" is also spelled "choad". Both are correct.

Also, the insult you were looking for is "numbnuts".

You were wrong twice in one sentence. That's about normal for you.

Self hating pigs like yoyo and john leap at any excuse they can to think they're better than anyone else. Fat people are easy targets for the petty, sophomoric choads. Pathetic.

Re: “As the school district readies itself for a new superintendent, a new report spots organizational knots to untangle

"Same goes for the Magnet schools."
What? goes same for the Magnet schools? That "they send them back to their zoned Metro school" right before testing, if they are expected to test low? That is flat-out a false statement. The Magnets can't send anybody back anywhere during the school year unless a student commits a zero-tolerance offense, and there are pretty much none such offenses left anymore. Precious few students get sent back (revocated) to their zoned school at end of school year.

Also, the claim has been often made that the charters send kids back to their zoned schools right before testing, though the charge has been denied. Anyone making the charge needs to provide credible data/evidence to back it up. I'm not saying this because I'm in the charter camp (I'm not); just saying that false charges don't help to strengthen your concerns, if you're not a fan of charters, which I'm guessing you're not.

Re: “Attention WKRN — Being Trans is Not a Crime

"Paying for a hotel room in cash is not probable cause for an arrest"

Min, does the article say that's what happened? Read it carefully and see if it actually says that.

Re: “Attention WKRN — Being Trans is Not a Crime

The linked WKRN story says that the woman admitted being a prostitute and advertised on a site known for facilitating sex for hire. I don't what facts underlie the promoting charge, which is a felony. Loitering in a public place for the purpose of being hired for sex can constitute prostitution under our bizarre statutes.

Talking to police here was major league dumb. God gave us five fingers on each hand; use them as a reminder of the Fifth Amendment!

Re: “Attention WKRN — Being Trans is Not a Crime

Yes, QuietMan, a tranny paying cash for a motel room in in area known for prostitution could just as easily be a "tired traveler." Crazy how they discovered he had posted prostitution ads and how he admitted he was a prostitute, huh? I mean, what were the chances of that? Must have been a million to one!

Min, since you're so against anonymity here, please tell us your full name.
