Re: “July's First Saturday brings the cool to the first summer crawl

Start working at home with Google! It's by-far the best job I've had. Last Wednesday I got a brand new BMW since getting a check for $6474 this - 4 weeks past. I began this 8-months ago and immediately was bringing home at least $77 per hour. I work through this link, go to tech tab for work detail.

Re: “July's First Saturday brings the cool to the first summer crawl

I basically profit close to $10k-$12k every month doing an online job. For those of you who are prepared to do easy at home jobs for 2h-5h each day at your house and earn valuable paycheck while doing it...

Re: “Josh Elrod's abstract, candy-colored canvases are stubborn paintings about painting

In the 2000 Pollock biopic, Jeffrey Tambor plays art critic Clement Greenberg, saying, "Paint is paint. Surface is surface."

Of course, the real Greenberg was not limited to spouting vapid tautologies.

Re: “A talk with artist Patricia Piccinini, whose disquieting yet appealing works explore the bond between man and animal

I agree with them being grotesque. These creatures are an abomination but that being said it's hard not to look because sadly enough there are creeps in science who have attempted to play God and more than likely already have and it's unnatural. It's terrifying that the human mind could even think of creating these creatures and even more insulting placing children statues essentially trusting even laying with these beast. I get it, she wants to be different express herself in a way far from the normal psyche, that being said I am glad that is all this is. I appreciate art but this is definitely not in my taste.

Re: “The October crawl falls right into the middle of the autumn art season

After such a long and grueling summer, fall weather can have the most uplifting effect on society. Being in a more comfortable environment often lifts anyone’s spirits. Even nature shows off in the most colorful way possible, with leaves turning vibrant shades of red, yellow, and orange and eventually falling from their branches and coating the world in their magnificence.
It’s no wonder why art-gazing is particularly engaging during this time, most people are already intrigued by the changing world around them, so it seems easy to assume that they would be more interested in art than at other times of the year. Although the cool weather is proving to be elusive, the fall season state of mind is beginning to show.
Out of the seven galleries opening downtown, Jeff Bertrand's The Greatest Show on Earth gives me the most excitement. Who isn’t interested in the oddities of the world? With the reference to ‘hijinks’ I wonder if there will be actual sword swallowing and other similar circus acts. Art indeed!
If that doesn’t catch your eye, Eric Dickson’s Wars and Rumors of War might. An interactive sound display with actual recordings of war conflicts could potentially be unlike anything I have experienced and may be worth the visit.
There will definitely be something for everyone in the art scene this season!

Re: “This month's abbreviated Wedgewood-Houston events come late but not short

Splitting the openings as happened in July should prove more favorable to all participants and gallery hoppers. Wedgewood-Houston should move to the second Saturday so everyone benefits.
