Had the pleasure of meeting Mark White today. Very nice gentleman.
Randy Wood is now located in Bloomingdale, GA. He is still in business building the finest handmade fretted instruments available. He has continued the feel and vibe of the original Pickin Parlor with our smaller but equally cool "Randy Woods Pickin Parlor Concert Hall".

Is this by chance the same Tim Gmeiner whom played piano at Shakey's in Appleton?
I was lucky enough to meet Bobby when I was a kid, living in Cresskill, NJ. My sister remained friends with him up until his death. He was a great guy and always had time to show me his "in house" studio, and the thrill was meeting Lou Rawls one day when I stopped by. RIP, Bobby!
this has nuthin 2 do with cell division.....WTF
"Loves Last Stand" is an awesome tune. I wish I had the guitar chords to it.
Twain is one of my favorite authors. I am amazed at the variety of his writings. Most people think of him as a humorous novelist for works like Tom Sawyer and Huck Finn, but he wrote numerous accounts of his travels and a great deal of social commentary, speaking out on just about everything: imperialism, women's suffrage, lynchings, religion. Although he was a religious skeptic, he used religious and Biblical references frequently in his works. One work that is read infrequently is "Captain's Stormfield's Visit to Heaven." Along with "Letters From the Earth" he blows the traditional view of heaven out of the water ---or should I say sky? ---with his humorous observations. My favorite excerpt from the diaries of the Adams family is Eve's account of how milk gets into a cow. Priceless!
Actually, "Music City" goes back way further than the 1950's..... In the late 1800's the Jubilee Singers of Fisk University sung for the Queen Elizabeth. LOL..... she loved them so much she said " You must be from Music City!!!". The singers said if thats what you wonna call it then fine, but we are from Nashville...
One of "Henry Ford's" pictures was damaged. Part of it
was saved and later given to their house keeper and
passed down. Can anybody identify the painting? E-mail me and I will send a picture of the painting. (paulfruend@aol.com) picture would not attach to this.
We just got the news and are so sad to know you have gone but happy you are with our LORD! As Bobby's dear friend Paul Scott of Salem, MA, my wonderful husband shared his dearest frendship with me. Over the many years in Salem, Manchester, & Rockport, MA, we enjoyed the best of times and I have the honor of Bobby calling me "little sis" which is a heart warming memory and the treasure of a great long time REAL FRIEND! We will be with you again in the future at GOD'S choosing. Love Paul & Georgina (little sis) Scott

Thank God for such a wonderful story, of this man. I am encouraged by his expressions of his approach to life's experiences, challenges, encounters. I appreciate his words and his sense of responsibility for what is in life and how he can effect it. I hope that he had a close friend, which would have been a good thing, with the loss of his brother, Harold, with whom I think he must have had a very special brother/friend relationship. I am so thankful to have found this article, and I will search out more of these words, of the nice man, Bobby Hebb. Thanks again.
