I went to one this past weekend. Biggest rip off ever! I have no clue what the money went towards, but it certainly wasn't good dessert. My boyfriend and I stood in line for the chocolate table for over 30 minutes and when we finally got to it, there were only 5 very small things to choose from, 3 of which I would guess were store bought. Waste of money and my time!

@Disappointed, @Kate, @Basement, we hate to hear you did not enjoy SS. Every event features different products, brands, and venues, with several tasting options. Though we stand behind all brands and products we feature, we hate they were not to your liking, and never experienced such. It is terribly sad that we are labeled “bad all around” because of this- we have not grown the SS brand by being a “bad“ event produced by a “bad“ company run by “bad“ people. We are actually quite the opposite, and have satisfied many guests since SS began.
Because we care, we courteously respond to comments in a timely manner, and attempt to resolve any dissatisfaction. In doing so, at no time is anyone on this team rude or attacking to any guest offering feedback, good, bad, or ugly (though I wish I could say the same for those few who communicated with us). We work hard to provide a pleasurable event, have done so many times and will do so many more times, love what we do, and want everyone to have a sweet time. If it doesn't work out that way, we truly want to discover why you are not happy. This is quite difficult to do when some people have no interest in respectfully discussing and reasonably resolving, but are focused only on their right and ability to spend their valuable time trashing your hard work anywhere and everywhere they can because they can, based on a single experience. We cannot combat that, just as we cannot change any pre-conceived notions of SS. We listen to and accept constructive feedback from anyone willing to give it.
When we have occasion to experience events/products/businesses/services that are not satisfying for whatever reasons, everyone on my team (and 95% of associates in general) is courteous and professional in expressing any dissatisfaction, and would only leave negative feedback IF they feel it necessary and only AFTER attempts to communicate with management are unsuccessful. Sadly, this has not been the case in this situation. Any time you ever have questions or want to learn more about SS, please take a moment to reach out to GGEP- we are always happy to make time for anyone interested, and sure, you can still remain anonymous!

I complained to Gabes Gurl (sugar social) and was shocked at the rude, attacking and dismissive reply. This company should NOT be doing business!
Their FB page was getting hate mail faster than they could delete it for 48 hours straight! Melissa, the owner actually blamed Living Social and the LS clientele for the awful event.... Bad event, bad business, bad time
