As a New Orleans native, I sincerely enjoyed and appreciated Ri'chard's Cafe'. There are a few restaurants dishing up Cajun, Southern and Creole cuisine in the Nashville Area but Ri'chard's offers "Langiappe"! That's French for, "A little bit extra". The food is delicious and the atmosphere is laid back and friendly. Richard Trest, the owner, is a working owner. Along side his restaurant staff, he cooks, cashiers brings food to the tables and even sits in with live bands contributing his awesome guitar playing or slapping the cajon but that's still not all! Richard is an accomplished musician himself and enjoys performing his own music for his patrons. It's all part of the experience expected and well-delivered at this establishment. Step into Ri'chard's Cafe' and find yourself in the deep south where the shrimp are frying and the file' gumbo is steaming. You may have just found your new kitchen-away-from-home! I did!
Great Theatre! Even greater prices! Makes movie night possible more than once a week.
I agree with the previous poster. This "church" scares me! Look them up on Facebook or on their website. They believe it doesn't matter which religious path one chooses - they all lead to heaven. BOLOGNA! I hate to tell you but Unity Church members are going someone after death - and its VERY VERY HOT.
This church is nuts and is full of crazy lesbians who believe dolphins and the color purple hold the power to the universe. DO NOT GO THERE!!
Antiques are back in Adams. Check them out at www.buzzardcreekantiques.com. This a a great place for a little road trip about 40 miles north of Nashville. Great antiques form the 1800 to the 1970's, great food from Mosses Coach House home cooking to Adams Station BBQ.
Each sandwich is its own triumph! Rod, the chef, has mastered the art of simplicity married with complexity in each gourmet sandwich, salad, and dessert. There is no wrong choice, everything I have tasted on the menu is superlative and inventive!! The wine list is excellent, and a variety of other non-alcoholic options are also available. It's a small restaurant, so prepare to wait. Also, prepare to be blown away...
Been going to this place for about 14 years now. The food is great, Burgers and Catfish along with an outstanding side salad are just amazing. Went there last night and for the 2nd time in my life I did not tip, the waitress Brittany was just terrible. If I heard "I will be right back" one more time I was going to lose it in there and after spending most of our time watching her run around the bar/restaurant like a chicken with her head cut off finally I had to flag her down to get our change and card back. She gave us our bill and she told me to figure it out. If I go back there it is going to be if she is not there, no way in H--L do I want to deal with her ever again.
What a piece of crap place. The name says it all, LOSERS. Keep an eye on your car if parked in their lot. Went there for some food and drink and came out 2 hours later and they had my car towed that was parked in their lot. Will never go there again or Winners either for that matter.
A friend and I went to this theater for the first time last night. The price is only $2.00!! We saw 2 movies (The Call and Snitch). It is great to know you can go out, watch a movie, get your popcorn and drink all for under $10.00. The staff is very nice and helpful.
I love it! A Short walk and a handful of clubs type/food/drinks and rented venues night entertainment and dancing.
Best NY-style pizza in Nashville! Now Joey's has moved to Elm Hill Pike (just off Fesslers Lane) and is only open for lunch on weekdays. Brentwood location is no longer there...
Brian, maybe you should grow a beard and get some thick-framed glasses, then the service would improve for you (Mitchell's=Hipster Territory). When I was there, twice, the service was efficient (not rude); but there's a fine line between the two. The food? Meh. And way overpriced. Not really a deli, more of a sandwich shoppe. Folks who don't know the difference are happier with Mitchell's.
PS, Are the stars to rate Mitchells, the story about it, or the comments? Either way I vote 3.
Cafe Coco"s Italian Market And Kitchen is an awesome place to go for authentic Italian food and desserts, the service is great , my fave dish is Tortellini Elliston and the baked ziti is pretty good too, as well as the pizza..Tuesday are pie and pint night for 10.00 and wens is half off bottle wines..We have been there many times . love this place !!!!!!!
I hate spending $10+dollars at the regular theater for something you can see a few weeks later for $2.00! Not the most updated theater in town and I have wondered about the police yellow tape on some of the back seats :(. But, it's close to home and I enjoy being able to go out for a cheap date. The staff is very kind and polite which I believe is truly important even at a discount. I haven't taken advantage of Tuesday $1.00 popcorn and soda night but I will soon!
they do their best to be of good service and to please each customer. Very friendly to regulars and seem to really care. Excellent customer service in my opinion. I have visited two other locations but West Nashville stands out above the rest. My favorite place by far
I recently got indulge at this little coffe shop with a great authentic cuban taste on the food, price is fair for what it is, a tasty and generous portions, cuban sandwich and medias noches are amazing, friut milkshakes are awesome as well. Empanadas on special at $1, crockets, and papa rellena (stuffed potato) only 1.50!
Now the best probably is the cuban coffee (like a espresso type of coffee) and the pastries and desserts mhmhmh, arroz con leche also.
As far as I knew, there are two rules at Back To Cuba Cafe, rule one, you should order as it reads on the menu (on spanish) and two, no texting while you eating... really?
Well, I kind of got clarify that they suggest and support no to text while you eating, not meaning not texting at the table, only while you eating and got your sacred food (a latin cultural tradition it seems like) but also the enviroment is friendly and not big deal about it, they took care well of our table and the patrons around while I was there.
Definetly I would recommend this little and unique cafe, food and table experience are good!
love it! just beer and burgers, but the burgers are so delicious! had the stroganoff burger and will have it again when i go back this summer! it really left a great impression.
Favorite seafood place - excellent goods
Re: “Carmike Hickory 8”
I love this theater. It's great! The staff is really nice, and the building is just fine. The seats are comfy and the tickets are cheap! The popcorn is good! My family and I go here like every week, sometimes twice a week!
