Best chocolate shake in Tennessee
I love this place. My wife and I eat there all of the time and while the service can occasionally be spotty, the food is sublime and the beer is always near icy cold. Highly recommend.
Won the Best Salon in Nashville in 2009 just a year after opening. From professional moms to the most uber of stars call this their home salon. Conveniently located in trendy 12th South and close to Vandy and Green Hills, it's the best!
Love it!!! The owner is wonderful, their banchan rocks, and it's some of the best Korean food in Nashville.
Amazing experience, yes I had to wait in line for 90 minutes to get indescribably hot chicken but it is an experience. Made new friends, enjoyed the challenge of getting several different types of chicken by planning with friends who came along for the fun. If you go prepared, understand it will be hot, you will stand in line, so bring friends to chat with, a hat, a large bottle of ice water and treat it like a picnic.
Also get there early, they will run out of chicken. More then worth it though.
For appetizers we had the Charcuterie platter w/duck prosciutto, mortadella, country pâté and cheese platter. Both of which were excellent. There was a wide variety of meats and cheeses. I think 5 of each in just the right proportions; each very unique and tasty. A great way to start off the meal, especially with wine.
The grilled octopus pesto sauce was the best I’ve ever had, and I’ve had a lot of bad octopus. It was tender (really) and so mild, yet tasty. It was a simple dish that highlighted the octopus; rather than buries it. I think it may have been smoked lightly – just plain wonderful. The Georgia shrimp w/leek fondue, spring peas, ramps, citrus was absolutely delicious. I could have eaten a bowl of the warm leek fondue and ramps. The pea puree burst of spring and made the dish rise to another level. The BBQ pork sliders on sweet potato biscuits were a disappointment. The biscuits were dry and there was the classic mistake that many non-Southern chefs make with BBQ – sauce should be used sparingly (not drenched) because BBQed meat is great by itself. The venison w/ mushrooms, spaghetti squash, and parsnips was excellent. Cooked perfectly to a medium rare, tender and flavorful.
The wine selection is superb. They know their wines and are happy to share their knowledge no matter how much or little you know about wine.
Wait staff and bartender are friendly and superb. Not only do they know the menu, they know the wines to pair with your choices. They are engaging - they listen to your preferences and ask questions before making suggestions. They are attentive and responsive with the littlest request such as a little more pesto to finish off the grilled octopus.
The ambience is simple elegance. The bar and dining area are far enough apart not to interfere with each other. It is a quiet, romantic and lovely restaurant.
THE PERFECT WING!
If Anthony Bourdain were visiting Nashville, I would take him to Richie's to get wings. Seriously. I used to visit the previous location in Madison and was really glad to track him down not too far away. I always get an order of wings and sometimes one of his chicken sandwiches which are very good. But the wings are the star here. I don't know what his secret is but it results in a great balance of spicy and a little sweet, fried just right with texture that makes me have to crunch on the bones too. Richie isn't much on decor but it's a clean and pleasant place to sit, and he is an attentive and courteous host. Note that the location has moved to Hendersonville, next to the skating rink at 750 West Main St. New phone is (615)348-0065.
Giving has never tasted so good. SoundForest partners with Blackstone Brewery and The Taproom on 12th South in Nashville to help plant trees.

I've become a big fan of the food and atmosphere at Suzy's. Food is always fresh, flavorful, and filling. The staff is professional, yet friendly. This is very creative, upscale Asian cuisine, not Panda Express. Expect bold flavors, rich sauces, and crunchy veggies. I enjoy the Yum bowls the most. Be sure to try the General Tso’s Shrimp (or Chicken). Excellent. The Deluxe Asian Nachos with pulled pork topping are also a great shared appetizer, or meal. The staff at the bar always make me feel welcome. I love this place, and make it a point to return often.
I was nervous about checking this place out after reading the reviews, but it turns out it is under new management (since February 2011 I think they said)? I really dig this place. Comfy lounge area, quiet space, great yogurt. Can't beat it.
THE BEST CLUB IN NASHVILLE!!!!
I have been in a ton of bars, all over the country. And, let me tell you, the Wheel one of the best places to be. It is a must stop for me when I am in Nashville, especially on Sunday, when this honky tonk, rockabilly band plays. Clue and the Honkytones is one exceptional group! They can play everything, from Elvis to the Zep! And the lead singer, Clue is a class act. He might as well be the King of Nashville!
Aside from the incredible musical talent, the service is great, and the people there are like old friends. There is a nice patio in the back where you can catch some rays, throw back a few and listen to the music. You wont be disappointed! Be sure to bring your cigars!
This place rocks. The food and music are great. The service is excellent. They have a treasure chest full of toys for the little ones. Richard the owner is originally from Louisiana and knows his Cajun cooking. They are also open on Saturdays from 12:30 to 9:00 so you can enjoy lunch and listen to some great up and coming writers at the Songwriters showcase hosted by Gary Cavanaugh. Some no. 1 writers have been known to drop in! Aieee and great etouffee!!
There's always at least one movie there I had wanted to see but could not afford. Theaters feel like small town theaters with wide aisles and simply on a slant, no stairs. From the times I've been, the workers have been very nice and the entire place including bathrooms have been clean. Also, I have gone a lot at night when people deem it "unsafe" and have never felt in harms way. Ever. Great price, great atmosphere. Give it a chance. You will be pleasantly surprised.
I can't believe this has not been reviewed!?!?! It is hands down the BEST Indian food in Nashville. I'm not a vegetarian, but I don't care when I'm here. Everything is that good. My favorites are actually on the Indo-Chinese portion of the menu which is very popular in India. If you are looking to blow your taste buds into the next stratosphere, try their: Hot & Sour Soup (better than most Asian restaurants), Szechwan Dosa (East meets, ummm, further East), and Paneer Chili (Chinese with Cheese, hell yeah!). You should also try the Salted Laasi which is better than I've had anywhere in the WORLD. The Chaats are are all pretty good as well. My wife and I usually go with the Papdi Chaat. The service is amazing, these guys don't walk, they run! And if you need awards on the wall to be convinced, they got plenty. Now stop reading my review and go to Woodlands!
Let's see where do I start?! Huge fan of the margaritas especially the strawberry one!!! Pair it with an order of fish tacos and rice or their enchiladas and I swear you'll be coming back for more... This is literally the only Mexican restaurant you can go to where they the food to your liking. The waiter and waitresses are super polite and it's great environment to bring family and friends. The cherry on the top is the fact that you can go next door and purchase the fresh tortillas that you just finished devouring a couple of minutes ago!!! Two thumbs up La Ha!!!
I have never had a fly problem in the many times I have been either. Even when sitting outside. It is a great place, with great people, and service is good as well. My only complaint would be that children are allowed, but even with that, I have never been annoyed by the children. The food is awesome. It is a BAR(I would think the name Brewhouse would have given that away)... Evidentally the first reviewer has never been anywhere fun. People who ride Harley's must scare her because she doesn't know anyone that does ride a Harley. There are no gang fights or rumbles in the area.
Forget going to any other honky tonk on Broadway!Clue and the Honkytones are hands down the best band on Broadway! Saw their show on Sunday at The Wheel and they play traditional, legendary country and rockabilly! I bought their CD of originals called "Thrown Thru the Windshield", I love every song on the CD! Clue has a baritone voice like no other I have ever heard! The way he sings Elvis's songs gives me chills!!!! A must see when coming to Nashville! They play 2-6 on Sundays.
Jack Scott always books quality talent for the Songwriter Nights...great music and great food...how can you go wrong? SUPERTERRIWONDERFANTABULOUS!!!
Re: “Bunganut Pig, Franklin”
Wonderful long loved bar, a favorite with locals. Right near the heart of downtown Franklin. Terrific music, great outdoor patio with two indoor eating areas (top floor totally bar complete with pool table). Really good food at fantastic prices. Fried Pickles are amazing!!
