Re: “Larry Keeton Theatre

Two things that should not be attempted:
1) Re-make a John Wayne movie without the Duke.
2) Re-make the Music Man without Robert Preston.

Re: “Hermitage SteakHouse

We ate here last Friday night. Awesome food and service. Best salad bar in Nashville. Will be back for sure. Can't wait to try their soups when they put them back on their Fall-Winter menu. Thanks for a great evening! The Sullivan Family from Franklin TN

Re: “The Vine

The Vine is our new favorite restaurant in Nashville. We sat on the patio and enjoyed a great sunset and view of the city while enjoying flights of wine. What a deal to have three glasses of wine for what I usually pay for one glass of good wine. Service was top notch but the food was out of this world and full of flavor. All 4 of us agreed it was the best meal we have enjoyed in the city since we moved here 3 years ago from Chicago. The desserts were amazing as well. I am still thinking about that apple dessert we had.....

Re: “Premiere 6 Theater

I've been seeing movies at Premiere 6 since I was a kid, and it's always going to be my first choice for where I see any movie. No telling how many movies I've seen there with my family and friends. Such a good place!!!

Re: “Bombay Bistro

It's really hard to write bad about food, particularly Indian food. I love all its complexity, the flavors, the aromas, textures, and the bite in some dishes. The place seemed functional enough and efficient at first sight when I went for a buffet. But the food was bland, very meager (compared to other Indian restaurants)...The waiters were indifferent, even cold, perhaps because they have no idea what they were serving. Yes, the waiters -curiously, all white and no Indians - did not seem to be the type who might like Indian food. One said as much when I asked how come she did not know what channa was...I don't know who owns this place but he or she better get their act together or they'll be out of the game in a hurry. I'll give them another chance.

Re: “Springwater

In the late 70s early 80s. I worked at a Springwater near the Parthenon. Small place with a few pool tables and place in the backroom for the bands. Served beer and chili hamburgers and fries. Terry Cantrell ran the place and a place on Elliston and 21st Ave. I think and called it Cantrell's.

Long nights and getting people to leave by 2 or 3 am was a challenge. Is this the place I remember?

Re: “Smoker's Abbey

Great local shop with a solid selection of cigars and a relaxed atmosphere. The employees here are excellent at recommending the right cigar. There's a reason these guys were voted Best Cigar Shop in the 2014 Scene Best of Nashville poll.

Re: “The River of Life Church

My teenage daughters have been attending The River for about a year. We love it and haven't seen any of the behavior "Me" described. Every service has been Jesus centered and love filled. Yes, churches require $$$ to operate, to do missionary work, and yes, to grow, as well as a thousand other things the church does. However, I've never felt that money was a motivation of the ministers. Love The River and feel like The River loves us.

Re: “The Row

My husband and I bumped into this eatery by happenstance...but so glad we did!! The Row burger is a "burst of yumminess" on the tongue....and the bbq is not your "Red Neck norm"!! I also adore the cozy Country Music historical theme....paying homage to the folks that put Nashville on the map!! And then....(there's more!).... , besides the cozy corrals, there is also separate group dining....AND....(more!more!more!)...THEY HAVE LIVE ENTERTAINMENT in an even LARGER AREA!! Can't wait to bring a group!! Can't wait to visit on LIVE NIGHTS!! Can't wait to try everything on the menu!! Did I mention that the Brownie & ice cream are delivered on the gosh-darn cutest castiron guitar I've never seen!! Ya'll will love it!! :)

Re: “Carmike Hickory 8

Despite the recent tragedy at this theater, we will continue to attend movies here and support the great staff. Antioch is being revitalized, and some mentally ill patient will not stop that from happening. We'll be there next week, watching a movie.

Re: “Coco's Italian Market & Kitchen

I have been to Coco's several times over the past few years. Every time I go it is a great experience. I have tried most items on the menu and have yet to be disappointed with anything. The staff is always nice and the prices are great. The place is always clean and well kept. I would recommend this place to all who love Italian food.
