Re: “Taziki's

Taziki's Cool Springs was a big disappointment. In Nashville/Brentwood we have a great Greek/Med place in Kalamatas but you have to stand in line, order your food and they don't serve wine or beer (you can bring your own, however) I was envisioning Taziki's as a nice sit-down restaurant where a waiter comes to your table, takes your order and delivers your food and wine. Well, it's not like that and the food was very mediocre. The balsamic vinegrette is the strangest dressing I've ever seen. It will be lost in the fray at Cool Springs but what a waste of the former Zola's location. Maybe they've gotten too big but the food was very "chain-like" not up to the 4 and 5 star reviews they have received in Birmingham and closer to home.

I was really looking forward to the Taziki's "restaurant" but will not be going back. You can't beat Kalamata's if you are craving Mediterranean--it's worth standing in line for.
