Re: “417 Union

Average food and subpar service. If you're just looking to satisfy hunger this is the spot. If you want a great breakfast and fun experience, keep looking.

Also expect it to cost $60 for two people.

My friend didn't like her salad because the lettuce was brown. She also didn't like the coke. Another commented on the lettuce that came with his quesadilla, but he didn't eat it. He liked their ginger ale.

Would I go back? Probably not. It's very small, and we went to the restroom and found that they had two bottles of lotion in the tiny unisex bathroom, but no soap. We told our waiter, but they never did put any soap in the bathroom.…

Re: “Sunflower Cafe

The food is excellent, but I'm
giving this restaurant a poor review because of their parking attendant. I went there today and was trying to exit the parking lot instead of park where he wanted me to, and he proceeded to pound on my window so hard I'm surprised it didn't break, and then yelled at me not to ignore him. I won't be returning, he really ruined the place for me.

Re: “Burger Up

Thursday night wait wasn’t bad @15 minutes. It was our first time. I asked the waitress how large are the burgers. Her answer was “I don’t know.” My date & I looked at each other (both with yrs of restaurant experience) reading each other’s mind, “the right answer is I don’t know, but I will find out and be right back.” So I demonstrate with a gap between my thumb and index finger are they this big - ¼ inch, this big - ½ inch, or this big - 1 inch. She goes with the ½ inch, which I said “then they are @ 1/3 lb, right?". That was wrong; they are ¼ lb. Our burgers were excellent, cooked correctly - medium rare . Mine had goat cheese and pesto, and his had bacon and sharp cheddar. The presentation was pitiful – a lonely little burger on an otherwise empty plate. The fries which came in a cup were greasy and limp. We told the waiter who was clearing the table about the fries. He asked if we wanted more. Again, we looked at each other. We also split the spinach, bacon and goat cheese salad. It was excellent and a nice large portion. The ambiance was fine; nothing special.
