Re: “P.S. Noodle Pot

This place has the best fresh spring roll in Nashville. All of the vegetables and food is fresh and the food is made with quality and craftsmanship in an open atmosphere (you can see them cook your food). This is one of those out-of-the way places that will surprise you. It's quite a small place, but that is part of the charm.

Re: “Germantown CafĂ© East [Closed]

The green plate is a must, even for non-vegetarians. It's hearty and full of flavor as well as a real meal; not just a plate of side items.

And the side patio is a wonderful spot with a great view of downtown.

Re: “Chinatown Restaurant

Best Chinese Food in Nashville. I live in East Nashville, but every time when I crave for Chinese Food, I drove all the way to Chinatown in Green Hills to satisfy my craving. Food quality is consistent every time, service is NO.1, price is very reasonable for upscale Green Hills. I know many of my friends who live in East Nashville eat at Chinatown at a regular basis. There is just no other good Chinese restaurant in East Nashville

Re: “Bella Napoli

While the food was good, the service was TERRIBLE. Our waitress was very pleasant, but we had two issues. First, my ID was denied because it looked 'fake'. While I was visiting from out of state, I had two forms of identification and it still look half an hour to get my glass of wine. Second, The group I went with was using a Scoutmob. When we received our checks the alcohol was not discounted. We had to send the check back 3 times before we asked for the manager. The manager was the RUDEST manager I have encountered at a restaurant. When we asked about the discount on the alcohol, his response was 'We have never discounted alcohol before and if you have a problem with the Scoutmob you need to call them and complain'. The Scoutmob did not say the deal excluded alcohol, but the manager didn't seem to want to work with us at all. He was not listening, just talking in a very condescending manner. I will not be going back to Bella Napoli EVER. And if you plan on drinking a glass of wine, don't expect a discount if you're using a Scoutmob. This is a very unfortunate situation, food was good, but you can't have a successful restaurant with a terrible manager.

Re: “J. Alexander's

This restaurant is great. This is a top recommendation when we have guests in town. I have been here for lunch and dinner and my meal/service has always been exceptional! The atmosphere is very upbeat and entertaining with all the creative food presentations, like the tower of onion rings or the chocolate pyramid dessert, that are paraded by your table. Highly recommended for a great meal and the best shoe string style fries in Nashville.

Re: “Swagruha

Great flavors, but the goat was very tough! The young girl said it was their most popular dish, and the spice was just right; I will try it again - maybe I just got a bad goat. Along with the Channa Masala (Chick Peas in a scrumptious curry cream sauce) it was almost more food than I could eat! The samosas are savory and (again) BIG, served with a hot/sweet sauce that really balances well with their cardamom. Included for the $6.50 price were two curries and a mountain of saffron rice, naan, and a super-sweet rice pudding to cool you off after the feast. {Indian accent here}-> Most excellent repast I must say, tank you beddy much Swagruha!

Re: “Elliston Place Soda Shop

Really nice little place to pick up lunch. I had a hamburger, fries, and chocolate shake. Everything was delicious! The waitress we had was also very friendly. All around great atmosphere and food.

Re: “Caney Fork River Valley Grille

We were in Nashville for car parts with our grandsons and I had seen this advertised so we decided to go. The kids have begged to return every weekend since so we will go back this weekend. Don't remember a resturant we have enjoyed as much, food is better at some others but all in all this is well worth going to and keep going back to. We sure will. ////Food 4
atmosphere value overall 5

Re: “Mitchell Delicatessen

Though it's a problem going on a weekend for lunch because it's sooo busy - it's worth the wait- and you can call your order ahead. I love their french dip and the patio outside makes it a great lunch spot for friends and family.

Re: “Joe's Crab Shack

My first experience at Joes' was at Nashville. Excellent staff and service. The menu is full of the best seafood. There is other choices, but if you love seafood, you will love Joes'. They have a huge selection of the best crabs available anywhere. Every size appetite is offered a big selection. From a bucket of shrimp to my favorite the one and only "Bean Town Bake" Which includes not one but two whole lobsters throw in some clams, shrimp, corn on the cob, sausage, onion all served in a big roasting pan. Everything was cooked to perfection! I can sum up my experience at Joe's Crab Shack in three words. "I LOVE IT" When I returned home I immediately went to their website and found another location closer to me. I have been there about 6 times or I should say I drove there just to eat at Joes' 5 times and once I was in near there. It is about an hour and 45 min drive. Easy 7 out of 5 stars!

Re: “B.B. King's Blues Club

Average food, bad service, crummy plastic decor...not really what you'd expect at these prices. The music was just...OK.
I'm sure they just rent BB Kings name and that he doesn't have anything to do woth the running of the place. better take a loom Riley! Its your name on the marquee!

Re: “Cajun Steamer Bar & Grill

We love the food and atmosphere. Not what I'd call tradtional cajun, but really good. Just don't go during rush hour. We LOVE their Chargrilled Oysters. They just need to serve bread on the side without charging extra.
