The best steak I have eaten in Nashville. Everything was wonderful down to the iced tea.. The waiter forgot to put in our appetizer order but other than that my experience here was worth the money. The staff is very knowledgeable about steak and can offer advice if needed. I will definitely go back to this restaurant.
Very good place to go eat if you have a $100 burning a hole in your pocket... The food is amazing and beautifully presented on your plate. Fantastic wine selection as well.. But it is not cheap. If you are looking to go on a nice romantic evening with your loved one Sunset is very nice. The only reason it is not a 5 star rating is because of the entree prices..
This is a casual neighborhood type of rerstaurant with very good food. They have something for everyone from sandwiches to full course meals.
Classic smokey Memphis-style bbq in the original location of the iconic Nashville eatery. They didn't get this big with lousy service and so-so bbq. You know it's going to be good! But what sets it apart, other than the sexy sign? For me, it's the variety. I had pork bbq on cornbread - two big corncakes (like pancakes) and that was a new one on me. Yum! They also have great value meals - the daily special for 5 bucks, or a meat and potatoes dinner for 3 bucks. Plus tons of sides to choose from. And they serve breakfast made-to-order! Service is friendly and speedy, tables are clean and stocked with four sauce choices. If you live in Nashville, I know it's on your to-do list. Check it off soon!
If you're hungry, and prefer a high-protein diet like me, Las Maracas has several excellent menu choices not found at the other run of the mill Mexican restaurants around; among them is Milanesa, an awesome country friend steak Mexican style; shrimp el diablo (grilled, bacon and pepper wrapped); shrimp el pirata (smother the above with cheese); chiles pablanos (fried egg wrapped peppers); and the fajitas alambres (smothered in cheese and heaped with bacon). The service is fast and friendly and the restaurant is clean. They have big family friendly tables suitable for larger groups so meet your friend there. Prices are very reasonable and the portions are large.

I passed through there back in the summer and got about what I was expecting...not much. BUT, I went by last week and saw a huge smoker fired up out back that smelld divine. I perceived to go by there after I finished my route that day and am glad to say I was pleasantly surprised. The new guy could answer any question I had about any of the food and let me even try some he had just finished. He said he'll have a new menu by the 1st. He put's his "stamp" on everything that comes out of there. Oh yea, did I mention...It's award winning BBQ. This might just be one of those little "best kept secrets". I'm going back...You might want to consider it too!!! W

My first time at the Patterson was a huge success. After having dinner somewhere else stopped by to have a couple of cocktails and relax. I will say the Patterson has brought drink mixology to another level. Drink flavors that included rye bread and lime and ginger and mint. There was a party going on inside my mouth. Also, had the light dessert beignets with cinammon, sugar and salt. Wow, what a dessert. The ladies from Atlanta sitting beside me were yelling about having orgasms and that it was the best thing they had ever put in their mouth. What more can I say. I will definitely be back. I forgot to mention a really cool laid back atmosphere. This place has it all going on.

I am glad there is a restaurant in Nashville that I can dine at that has food that doesn't feel like Nashville. We started with the mussels and Foie Gras, which were both outstanding. Also, they had a Sauterne by the glass for the Foi Gras, which I really appreciated. Our main courses were the Wild Boar, which was cooked suvee, it was as good as anything I have ever had. My guest had the Venison, which was a little dry, Jimmie agreed and was working to keep it moist in spite of the low fat content. To finish, a deconstructed Creme Brulee was outstanding. I would recommend to anyone. It is the Wild Boar found without the pomp and circumstance, which fits me to a tee. I will definitely go back soon. Almost forgot the yummy rolls and also an excellent amuse bouche. See you again soon.

Great place to eat. Food was great. Service a little slow.
Great atmosphere. Go eat then hop across the street to the ExitIn for a complete night.

Today was our first visit to South Street. We were craving one of our favorite meals; raw oysters and beer. Acme in New Orleans and Goatfeathers in South Walton were out of the question. The service at South Street was well above average. David, our waiter, had good suggestions, and seemed to show up at just the right time. The oysters were delecious. We had three dozen, and would rate them close to any we've had anywhere. Our rating is only 4 because this was our first visit to South Street; if our next visit is as enjoyable, it'll be a solid 5.

The anchovy pizza was amazing, as well as everything else. The crust was perfect and they didn't overdo the cheese. Don't skip one of the few restaurants here, if not the only one, that hand-cures their own mozzarella. This is by far a favorite!

I was pleasantly suprised by this new Thai/Sushi restaurant in Bellevue. The food is inventive and delicious The presentation is exceptionally beautiful. Each plate is a tasty work of art. The wait staff was quick and pleasant. The atmosphere is adequate but dont look to close or the shabbiness shows.

I just ate at Golden Thai...supposedly the same place..new name? The complimentary soup tasted like canned chicken noodle soup...not good, the Me Krab was OK...a bit stingy on the shrimp. The red curry was delightful, crisp clean and the vegetables were perfectly done. The Pad Thai had great flavor, but mushy noodles. I would go back because I think the curries show great promise and I'd like to try the northern Thai dishes.

My boyfriend and I frequent Sushiyobi so much that we are known by the chefs and the servers - and always get the same thing. I recommend this place to all those looking for great sushi in downtown Nashville! Check out the American Dream Roll and Dragon Roll; don't forget to try their Volcano Roll and start your sushi off right with an order of Edamame! The servers have great attitudes and the food is always served fresh and tasty! Highly recommended!

just wanted to comment. i started eating at kien jiang yrs ago and when ms saigon opened i went back and forth between the two. my fave is pork vermicilli and the fresh spring rolls. personally, i like mine the best, but preparation is time consuming.
having chosen ms saigon a while back because they have many vegetables, mint and lean pork, alas, they were tonite. tried kj again. fatty pork, no bean sprouts, and almost no mint.
love saigon, and they have recently totally renovated their interior............beutiful and warm.!!!!!!!!

I used to live in Ethiopia as a teen and this is like "home cooking" to me! It is the closest thing to sitting at a friend's home and eating homemade wat and ingera. It's so wonderful, I routinely bring my family (who didn't live in Ethiopia) as well as co-workers desiring something different. No-one has been disappointed. I will return again and again.

Re: “Mafiaoza's”
I love good pizza and Mafiazo's definitely delivers.. Great tasting pies for sure. BUT - Its very expensive for pizza.. I like going here. Would go here more often but once you get a couple of drinks, a salad to share, and a pizza, you have already dropped at least $60.00. There are a lot more restaurants I would go to before Mafiazo's if I am planning on dropping that kind of coin... Its in a great neighborhood, great atmosphere at the restaurant, very nice patio, but in the end its just pizza. Delicious pizza. :)
