Re: “Cinco de Mayo

My girlfriend found a pebble in the salad. Was about the size of my thumbnail.

But that said, the service was excellent, they comped the meal, and the margaritas were pretty great. It's not the best in town for cheap, cosy tex-mex (for that, go to the restaurant between Church and West End), but it's good food at a reasonable price.

Their tamales were to die for. They even rivaled the ones from my favorite texmex place, which is saying something. The sauce on the tamale was so good and the outside was perfect. The steak fajitas were also really great, as well as the salsa. The only reason it's not 5 stars is the queso. It's okay, but nothing to write home about and I'm a queso fanatic so this was pretty disappointing for me. The prices and service have always, always been good, though.…

Re: “Lime [Closed]

The owners of Virago bring you a sassy latin inspired lounge. The atmosphere is a Miami wanna-be hang out. The food is one of the worst on the city and way over priced. If you're gonna go, go on a full stomache.
