I have eaten at Kalamata for the last few years and always thought their food was fine. I do think the service is pretty slow there and its a bit expensive.
I thought the food at Tazikis was delicious. The pork sandwich is a sleeper on the menu that I really enjoyed - but my staples are usually the salads (omg that lamb!) which are pretty healthy and the meat is very fresh and flavorful.
The reviewer above is judging the restaurant completely on the service model aka "fast casual" I think they call it - seems kind of silly. The food is on par or better than most sit down greek places I have eaten and the price is a steal.
I would recommend checking this place out.
This is the best kind of Kurdish food.specially the grille chekin .
THE best Middle Eastern/Kurdish restaurant in Nashville. My favorite dish is lamb shank (braised in a tomato sauce) with yellow rice (basmati rice with barberries). Get a bowl of the braising liquid on the side and some yogurt and you will have one of the best meals of your life.
Other good dishes are the joojeh (whole skewered cornish hen), kubideh (ground beef kabob), and teka (beef sirloin kabob). Also, the traditional dish is the shabzi (spinach stew with dried lime).
After you finish, have a glass of hot tea and relax - you'll be full.

Dunya Kabab is a fantastic little neighborhood restaurant serving freshly grilled tasty meats accompanied by good, savory soups and rice. Sabah is incredibly friendly and helpful. The mixed grill (number 5 on the backlit, cheap-chinese-restaurant-style menu above the counter) is a good place to start, and the cornish hen (number 7) is excellent. I've had okra soup (a bit tomato-y for my taste), lentil soup (minty and good), and another bean soup (rich and good). It is not for those looking for fancy atmosphere, but it is for those looking for good, cheap, fresh food served in a friendly environment.
Oh, and it's great for takeout. I've called twice on my way home from work. I told Sabah that I'll be there in X minutes and each time I watched him take my food off the grill and pack it up for me. Good stuff.
