Great sushi restaurant in/near the city. I've been to some of the more expensive/upscale sushi bars in the city, they are not even close to having the service, quality and freshness of sushi as Peter's. If you want to be seen go to the other places, if you want great sushi with good service go to Peter's.
This is the best Thai. Food is freshly made and not greasy. I eat here several times a week and alternate the Pad Woonsen, Pad Thai, Daily Curry selection, Pad Kee Mao, Curry BBQ Chicken, and Cashew Chicken. I crave this food and could eat every meal here. If you haven't tried this place, you are missing the best food.
Went here on lunch today. Fast service and pleasant staff. The food however was not the greatest. :( Meat was overcooked and food was somewhat blan. The market part had most basic essentials (most of which you could find in a regular grocery store), but not much else.
This is our go to for takeout and we love it!!! We get the green curry and a couple of spicy tuna rolls and have a great night!
HORRIBLE EXPERIENCE!
I placed a pick up order for lunch- 2 orders of shrimp pad thai. I picked up my order and went home to eat but while eating my meal I noticed that there were only 2 pieces of shrimp in my entire order. I was VERY disappointed in the fact that I was charged an additional $2 for shrimp and yet I only received 2 shrimp. I called the restaurant to speak to a manager to make a complaint about the amount of shrimp that I received in my order but instead of assisting me and acknowledging the issue, the manager proceeded to tell me that it was "impossible" for there to have only been 2 shrimp. Despite my attempts to explain to her that I had in fact counted and confirmed the existence of only 2 shrimp, she denied the possibility that more had not been included. She essentially called me a liar and refused to admit any fault. I live down the street from the restaurant and I have been there on several occasions. I have even recommended the restaurant to several of my friends. I will personally be telling EVERYONE I know about this horrible experience and I will recommend that no one eat there in the future. I have never received such horrible customer service and I can think of better businesses in the area that will appreciate my money.
The BEST so far in Nashville for food, service and prices. Freshness and quick service. First ttimers don't expect server to give you the low down on what's good, or what's in it. Bring someone with you who knows or you just go by the description on a very good photo menu, no matter what you choose, the choice will be delicious. The Bubble Drink is a favorite for kids in different flavors. My favorite is the Honeydew Melon. Refreshing dessert to drink on the way home. Gotta like those mochi rice balls in it...Try it!
This place has the best fresh spring roll in Nashville. All of the vegetables and food is fresh and the food is made with quality and craftsmanship in an open atmosphere (you can see them cook your food). This is one of those out-of-the way places that will surprise you. It's quite a small place, but that is part of the charm.
I thoroughly enjoy Watanabe for the service and the food. I always order panoply of sushi. I usually order too much, but I like having my own personal buffet. Their fish is top shelf! It’s the only sushi restaurant in Nashville that has real crab and Copper River Salmon. Even the more expensive sushi houses in town don’t offer real crab on their menu, and that automatically warrants a “B” review for them. I’ve indulged in some delicious daily specials – shrimp wontons with mango sauce to duck breast with cabbage in a red wine sauce. The drinks are amazing, with as much flare as Patterson House. The bartenders know how to make any drink you can think of; plus all the classics. They make their own syrups and also have an excellent sake selection. I’ve always had excellent service at Watanabe, and the bartenders are the friendliest in town.
Best Vietnamese in the city bar none! Ingredients are fresh, prices are low, and the service is quick. I recommend the fresh spring rolls, pho, and vietnamese coffee. After your meal, as is Vietnamese custom, you do not get a check; you need to go up to the cash register where your check is waiting for you. I have heard great things about their po boys, as well, though have not tried one myself, yet. I can't seem to stay away from the pho!
Every time my Husband and I go, we are greeted so warmly as we walk in the front door!
The food is always excellent, the saki is super, and the service has always been more that satisfactory.
We absolutely LOVE this little gem, and try to go at least once a week!
I was pleasantly surprised at how good this restaurant was/is. I was first taken there by a friend and only went out of politeness....I have been back several times since and have enjoyed each experience. The wait staff is excellent and the food is over whelming. I am a big man and rarely leave with a "doggy bag"...this place I can not finish the monstrous portions.
Not a bad Thai place, but I've had better. My meal was heavier than comparable ones at other Thai restaurants.
My husband really enjoy this restaurant. Our favorite Thai restaurant is Basils Asian Bistro. But we decide to switch up one day and tried Jasmines. We have tried several dishes. But, the Massman Curry and Spring Rolls and their homemade ice cream (mango & Coconut) are the ones that stand out the most. The Massman curry is served with Potatoes & carrots & red onion, but we always add chicken. They serve it wrapped in a Crepe. Well its actually thicker than a crepe. Not sure what it is. Then they sprinkle it with Peanuts, and fresh Cilantro. I usually venture out and try other dishes, but hands down this is the best on the menu. The pad thai, was good. but honestly I dont remember it, so I guess its kind of forgetful. Service is always great. We enjoy this place.
Worst Food I've Had In Nashville So Far!
Seriously guys? I couldn't believe my eyes when they brought out my $12 "entree" on a styrafoam plate, iceberg lettuce topped w/mayo, orange rice, and some sad white sliced meat that was supposed to be grilled chicken. To my horror, it tasted even worse. I think their "chicken" was of the pre-cooked varitey, soaked in sulfates, and the texture was like eating rubbery eggs. The salad tasted like mayo and relish, and the rice tasted like nothing. The only pleasant suprise was not getting food poisioning that evening. The owners of this restaurant have spared every expense to create this culinary catastrophe and in the words of my sister "must think we are idiots". I've had some great cheap Thai food but not at Satay!

Good food, somewhat overpriced, very slow service. The lunch prices are the same as the dinner prices ($10 to $15 for most entrees). Even though I was the only lunchtime customer in the restaurant, it took them 30 minutes to make a plate of spicy noodles, which most Thai restaurants in Nashville can do in 7 or 8 minutes.

I was pleasantly suprised by this new Thai/Sushi restaurant in Bellevue. The food is inventive and delicious The presentation is exceptionally beautiful. Each plate is a tasty work of art. The wait staff was quick and pleasant. The atmosphere is adequate but dont look to close or the shabbiness shows.

Re: “P.S. Noodle Pot”
Excellent excellent excellent! It's a very quaint little restaurant in an unassuming strip mall. Dimly lit and clean with a lot of atmosphere. I have read some reviews where people say the dishes are pricey, but this isn't McDonald's and you get what you pay for. Fresh food prepared very well and a LOT of it. Everything I had was phenomenal. You won't find this quality and flavor just anywhere. Well worth the drive!
