Firefly has a very eclectic dining atmosphere. Everything about our meal was fantastic. From the wine to the main course all the way to the most delectable desserts. The service was fantastic, too. We loved being able to choose from many different styles on the menu and appreciated our waiters attention to our requests for certain wine selections during each course. I would absolutely recommend The Firefly Grill to locals as well as anyone visting the city - don't miss this one. It's fantastic.

I loved the MacNCheese! Ryan made us awesome drinks, and the patio was also very nice. I'll definitely be returning with friends.

this is a great place to eat - but they no longer do dinner service, only lunch weekdays and brunch on the weekends.

Went to have dinner here last night and was very very impressed. Great atmosphere, extensive wine list and the food was amazing. I had the scallop special which was cooked to perfection. My wife had the almond chicken which was also delicious. Great happy hour deals plus a very friendly wait staff. We will go back for sure.

Very good place to go eat if you have a $100 burning a hole in your pocket... The food is amazing and beautifully presented on your plate. Fantastic wine selection as well.. But it is not cheap. If you are looking to go on a nice romantic evening with your loved one Sunset is very nice. The only reason it is not a 5 star rating is because of the entree prices..

Absolutely one of my favorite restaurants in Nashville. Have been over 10 times in the past year and never had a bad experience. The food is always delicious. The staff is always friendly and they always have great dinner specials. If you are looking for a nice place to go that is not going to break the bank, go to Germantown Cafe.

FANTASTIC. Ambience, service, wines, flavors, quality of food...all amazing. Had white Italian wine flyte, salad flyte, halibut, a chocolate flyte dessert, and even tried a Muscat from the dessert wine menu. Savored every bite! Can't say enough about this place. One of the best meals of my life, no kidding.

It is my feeling that it's never good to base your entire opinion from one experience. The waiter could have been having a bad day. Now I'm certainly not justifying his behavior by any means but simply suggesting another visit because i've had many great experiences at firefly.

We had made reservations for Sat 4/17/10 for my daughters birthday party for 11 people. There were 8 of us there by 6pm but was told we couldn't be seated unless all 11 was there. I was told the table was cancelled at 6:16pm , that they could only hold the table until 6:15. I believe we were not seated simply because we are African America. This is 2010 and all these unreasonable shady reasons for not seating us is unacceptable and I will be making a report to the Better Business Burea. We were told you would not have any openings until 10pm, which was not true either as we sat at the bar we noted many empty tables. I personally have been in more upscale restuants than Sambuca and would not recommend it to any of my friends or relatives, Oh I forgot thats probably would be just fine with you because they are all black! We had a horrible dining experience with the rude staff. We immediately felt rushed by Doug, our waiter, as he made the comment to our table that he was on a schedule. They hovered the table all night which I thought was great service until I realized the hovering was because they were rushing us out. Finally the extra rude man with the suprisingly outdated soccer haircut came to our table and asked us to leave because people were waiting on the table. Really?? Is this great customer service? You definitely should ask if your reservation is on a timeline because apparently our reservation had a timeline which was not communicated. A table for 8 and 1.5 hours in the resturant seems reasonable to me. Upon leaving another staff member ran to the parking lot to tell us she was sorry for the way her "socially dysfunctional" colleagues treated us. We will never go back there....I have had a few bad dining experiences but this one goes straight to the top. Way to go rude Doug and soccer haircut man!!

Have enjoyed eating at some of the finest restaurants in the country and was surprised to have such a great experience in such a quite little town. If there were just a five star hotel across the street it would be perfect!!

Excellent, cozy spot. However, I heard it has closed since I was there last year. I hope this isn't true because Mambu was definitely a place I'd return!

Every time I need someplace to impress, I know I can count on The Merchants. The 2nd floor is my favorite, with it's intimate atmosphere and live piano music. The food is amazing and I often find it hard to decide between my three favorite dishes. The servers are polite and very helpful, so from the time I valet park right outside the door to the time I leave, I know that I will have a truly amazing experience!

Pre Dave matthews dinner was horrible, wanted to drop a line to let you know of our first"(and probably last) visit to this establishment. The food was good. Very unique menu , but the service we recieved was beyond poor, it took us 15 min to get our drinks, I had water due to the designated driver. and with 5 bartenders working it took several attempts to get our second round, we had to stop another waitress and ask her to get our drinks. Several people were around us experiencing the same situation. Very poor birthday dinner experience. The concert was good though.

We recently had a wonderful dinner at the Firefly. The food, service, atmosphere, and value were all outstanding. It was the perfect place for our birthday celebration. We will be returning soon to this oasis in a sea of chain restaurants.
