I caught this exhibit with the Vishnu exhibit as well. Both were great. Eggleston designed a lot of my favorite band's album covers. They have a few there on display. ( the Silver Jews, and Jimmy Eat World) Some really interesting photography. Highly recommend experiencing this before it's gone!!
Electric Six was very entertaining, good all the way around. The Constellations are a very average band playing average songs. The guitar player was lifeless, the drummer was stock, lead singer was a cardboard cutout of a typical singer, the keyboard players were a joke, the bass player was really good. There songs were ready for dynamics, but there were none. Most of the songs flat-lined all the way through. The Constellations somewhat prove the snowball effect for bands right. Get enough inertia behind an Okay band and people will believe they are good.
Good show! There were some talented musicians playing at the Family Wash tonight; not so much singers, but very talented musicians. Double praises for the drummer who held his own through each diverse set. It’s definitely worth spending a Wednesday night at the Family Wash.
Good overall, it can be a bit plodding and slow at times, but that's more the text then the production.
Also there’s a hip hop musical coming to town on March 22nd and I’m trying to win tickets for me and my Mom. It’s called ‘In The Heights’.
It's an online contest, just click this link below and it counts as a vote for me! It'll also tell you all about the show. Thanks!

Three stars because while I LOVE LOVE LOVE Adam. I thought this review was hysterical! This guy should write for Saturday Night Live - g-d knows that show needs a big smack in the butt. I would've given it 5 stars but I couldn't bc his comic material is Adam.
Re: “Marty Stuart's Late Night Jam”
I LOVE MARTY AND THE SUPERLATIVES! THAT BEING SAID, LET ME GIVE JUST ONE PERSON'S THOUGHTS ON THE 2012 JAM: OAK RIDGE BOYS KNOCKED IT OUT OF THE PARK; STONEWALL WAS A JOY TO SEE AND HEAR, AND SANG SURPRISINGLY WELL! THE CHUCKWAGON GANG WAS VERY, VERY GOOD; SEEING ROGER McGUINN SATISFIED THE OLD HIPPY-COUNTRY ROCKER, AND ANY HALL-OF-FAMER SHOULD BE ON THE SHORT LIST OF PEOPLE YOU WANT TO HEAR BEFORE YOU CHECK OUT OF THIS WORLD; PAUL MARTIN AND HIS CHILDREN WERE SPECTACULAR; CONNIE SMITH IS ALWAYS GREAT, BUT ON JAM NIGHT SHE WAS ABSOLUTELY TREMENDOUS!! THE LOW POINT OF THE ENTIRE EVENING (FOR US, ANYWAY) WAS THE INCREDIBLY LOUD AND SELF-ABSORBED WYNONA....TO CALL HER OVER-RATED IS AN UNDERSTATEMENT. HER BAND WAS NOISY, AND SHE WENT ON FAR TOO LONG WITH HER BLABBERING ABOUT MOM, SIS, OPRAH, AND HER HUSBAND-TO-BE. WOULDN'T CROSS THE STREET TO SEE HER FOR FREE! BUT.....MARTY IS MARTY, AND HE AND THE SUPERLATIVES WERE (AS ALWAYS! SUPERLATIVE!!!!!!!!!!!!
