Re: “New Faces Nite feat. Lily and the Tigers, Junior Citizen, Tempt, Nate Baker, Matt Mackey & Look Homeward

Recorded in rural Vermont, the band’s new LP, The Hand You Deal Yourself embodies that quintessential rock & roll archetype of creativity through isolation. Like Bob Dylan & The Band’s Basement Tapesor, Bon Iver’s For Emma, Forever Ago, Lily and the Tigers have created a down-home set of songs filled with ramshackle charm and anchored by a stripped-bare aesthetic.

Includes immediate download of 8-track album in the high-quality format of your choice (MP3, FLAC, and more), plus unlimited mobile access using the free Bandcamp listening app.……

Re: “Cardboard Kids Album Release Party feat. Golden Youth & Lenchka and Poema

Cardboard Kids and Golden Youth are two amazing bands. CK has a new record and GY has a new ep. Hiwatt will be an awesome room to see them both before they blow up. In the near future you'll be sitting in some massive concert hall in the nose bleeds saying "I saw em back when".

Re: “Hollow Ox w/Ttotals & Pale Rider

Ttotals played Austin Psych Fest 2013, not 2014.

This is the best ticket in town on May 3! Red June is an AWESOME acoustic trio.

Dave to the Ross is outstanding, hometown of Nashville. Catch him on his rise, and subscribe to his podcast.

Re: “Spiffy Squirrel Feat. Dave Ross

yeay, thanks Lance. SPiFFY SQUiRREL tickets are just $5. Doors open at 7, show at 7:30, if you're there at 7:31 you're late. Also, after Dave we're screening Todd Snider's "East Nashville Tonight" (around 9-ish pm). It's gonna be fun.

Re: “Santana

Do you write this sort of article so that people respond? You know, like the radio shows where they provoke listeners to call in to their station by making absurd statements? Really... "forgive" Carlos Santana... and it not like he "raked in millions" ... "he deserves to get paid" ...and WTF?... Garcia??? You sound like you never heard the numerous extremely distinctive guitarists who have graced the stage and sound waves for decades... (are you 23 years old?) ... I won't list them all for you, but, well... there's so much for you to learn and enjoy. Start today!

Re: “Iron Fork 2014

Too crowded, hot and stuffy. Could not see the chefs cook. Not enough food tasting vendors. Parking was very confusing. Not the best venue. Rocketown and Marathon Motor Works are far superior venues.

Re: “Whoopi Goldberg

I love Whoopi and wish that I could make the 200 mile trip to see her in that beautiful symphony center. This would have been my first opportunity to see this marvelous woman up close and personal. Hopefully*** I will not let the opportunity pass me by again if she comes in this direction. Schermerhorn Symphony Center is the perfect venue to sit back and laugh out loud with the one and only Whoopi Goldberg.
