Re: “Crackerboots

Saw them last night and they were great. It was a nice surprise - we were there for Restaurant Week. Wonderful vocals - perfect mood for a romantic dinner. We may be back next week for more.

Re: “Louie & Ophelia

Great show! There were only 2 actors, Louie and Ophelia. They did such a superb job that you felt like more actors were present. They illustrated precisely the complexities of a relationship. We initially thought one thing was about to happen when Louie and Ophelia got together, especially since she has children but this play flipped the switch. You must see to know what I'm referring to!

Re: “Company

I have seen the John Doyle production of COMPANY before its Broadway Revival and have to admit that this show affected me more than the very cerebral approach of John Doyle. If you like Sondheim music, you will LOVE this show. If you have never seen a Sondheim show, run, don't just walk to the Keeton to see this production!

Re: “Grand Opening: Antique Archaeology Nashville

I own an antique store in Chicago, Illinois called Broadway Treasure Hunt and I know how hard it is to find unique and rare items myself. I commend the whole cast of American Pickers for their hard work and dedication towards educating everyone about the different items they find on their journeys. They look like down to earth and honest guys and their offers and pricing seems fair and reasonable to both the seller and buyer. It costs money to operate a business so I think they are more than generous and offering more than they should sometimes. Either way, if they are ever in Chicago, I would be proud to meet them and pick the picker's brains and give them some of my own leads too !!! Good luck guys and keep up the good work. I cannot wait to visit your stores one day. Sincerely, James S.

I saw the Doyle and Debbie Show today at The Royal George Theater in Chicago and was thoroughly entertained from start to finish. A laugh riot. Well performed. I highly recommend this show!

Re: “The Long Players perform George Harrison's All Things Must Pass

George was ahead of his time. Instead of doing an initial release, and then later issuing an "extended", "special", etc version, as is the money-grubbing way of the music industry today, he included the extra disc with the original release with its jams and "outtakes".

Totally agree with your assessment of it being the bext post-Beatles album, and is in my top 10 albums of all time by anyone.
