This show was amazing. Ben Kweller was great, of course, but Sleeper Agent blew my mind. :D
Thank you so much for posting about our event for Saturday! :) We hope that many Nashvillians come come and learn about Japanese culture. You can't beat FREE! :)
5 stars for the band, none for Mr. Hurt, who wrote this concert preview.
This is supposed to be a promo for the Moody Blues' performance tonight at the Ryman? I thought promos were supposed to be unbiased, accurate, maybe a little thoughtful...? It's usually expected to be at least a little 'positive', isn't it?

What's LOVE got to do with it? ;-)
There's a little similarity between "Days Of Future Passed" and Love's "Forever Changes." The titles both link to time in a broad sense and they both say 1967 on the back of the albums! "Forever Changes " is nice, folky, soft rock. "Days of Future Passed" stood and still stands alone in it's breadth and magnitude, a grand melding of the classical strains of a symphony with the pure creativity of budding art rock at it's best and finest. It is one of THE most elegant and perfect albums I have ever had the pleasure to hear! You couldn't change a note!
But how does comparing a band to it's contemporaries do anything to promote tonight's show? In my mind, this piece of.... writing doesn't meet the minimum requirements to be a concert promotion, I'm very sorry to say.
Great band, wonderful CD, high-energy performance at the Exit/In
Zappa was awesome
I was saddened when the French Quarter closed and the NJO lost its home. But now I've been to see them at the Commodore and it is a great replacement....much better, actually! The setup is intimate, the sound is amazing, the band, of course kicks major butt...and it's easier to get to than the old venue. I will be back!
It was a spectacular show in honor of those that defend our freedom... Thank You...

Best Frist exhibit I have seen in a long time.. Probably ever. A must go!

MORE OF THIS
It was amazing!!!! I never ever heard a pianist with such an amazing technique!
Don't miss this band ... they will blow you away !
In the last month, I've seen Shawn Camp, Mike Bub, Mike Compton, David Grier, Brad Folk, Mark Newton, Greg Garing, Larry Perkins, and many more of the greatest bluegrass musicians around. It's a great time!
Thanks, Patrick! New space, great solo artists, drink tickets. How can you go wrong?
I have been to two Bluegrass shows now and they are so much fun! Last night's show was the best yet! I love Chris Henry and his laid back, high energy show!
I was delighted to read this article about Gene Watson & the release of his new CD. As a fan of Gene since 1975 I have all of his albums & CD. I know this " Best of the Best:25 Greatest Hits" will be an outstanding CD, as Gene has recorded every song on the same notes as he recorded back then. Myself & many fans are looking forward to buying this one.
Thanks Margaret Brown (SCOTLAND)
Brett Warren is a true artist with a unique vision - don't miss this if you are able! Trust me - his work is awe-inspiring!
Jim Callahan ~ After a battle with cancer two years ago, he took some time to review where he is in his life and where he wants to be. It wasn’t long until he dusted off his guitar, put pen to paper and began his slow but certain return to the songwriter spotlight. He is currently ranked #12 on the Reverbnation.Com charts for Nashville Americana Artist. MusicSupervisor.Com says; “....his songwriting is unpredictable. With varied and valuable qualities, It never sounds off the rack.” One of his fans said; “ ....its like Johnny Cash meets Grateful Dead.” http://www.reverbnation.com/jimcallahan
Amanda Nagurney ~ Her new album, Gone, is getting great reviews from independent radio and online music bloggers around the world. In 2011 Amanda opened for The Band Perry, Sara Evans, and Bucky Covington, among other notables. In 2009 and 2010 she hit the top ten on Independent Music Radio and topped the charts more than once in Europe. With thoughtful writing and a big heart, her star is rising. http://www.reverbnation.com/amandanagurney
Mark Vikingstad ~ One of the best kept secrets in Nashville. You will want to hear his great voice, outstanding playing skills, and songwriting that is a sort of “James Taylor meets Billy Joel, meets Nashville.” Intelligent and sensitive He's the kind you will want to call a friend. http://www.reverbnation.com/markvikingstad
Kenneth Cooper ~ From Huntsville Alabama Kenneth has been slowly gaining momentum and growing his fan base both here in Nashville and across that ‘bama line. He would be the first to tell you he loves his Bad Ass Country (his most recent song) approach to music. http://www.reverbnation.com/kennethcooper
Very Special Guest David Bradley ~ From the oil rigs in Siberia to the clubs and songwriters circles of Nashville, Tennessee, Englishman David Bradley brings his soulful country rock & roll to the U.S. via his new home in Music City. After settling in with the community of singers and songwriters in Nashville, David offered his first single, "Soak It Up" to the music world. That song hit the top of the charts in Europe. He has since been making waves on all of the charts with “Hard Time Movin’ On” (nominated for video of the year) and “If You Can’t Make Money” (currently in the Top 40 on the Music Row Charts). http://www.reverbnation.com/davidbradley
