Re: “#SimplyStandards Jazz Brunch feat. The Combo

This kicks Saturday off to a great start. Get there early as the Stone Fox fills up pretty quick and stays busy throughout the band's sets.

Re: “Jam Session feat. Evan Cobb Quartet with Jim Ferguson

Excellent little clinic/performance space. Intimate setting with a friendly clientele and a pleasantly laid-back atmosphere. Jim Ferguson is great--some fine music happened this afternoon. Be sure to sign up to jam ahead of time, though; there's a plenty of folks eager to get in on the show.

Re: “Fantasia With the Nashville Symphony

It was an absolutely wonderful show, but the title was misleading. I thought they would perform all the pieces of the 1940 Fantasia, but they ended up playing a mixture of the old Fantasia and new Fantasia. I believe they did this to play it safe, as Night on Bald Mountain still generates controversy to this day, as silly as it may seem.
All in all it was fantastic and did justice to both Fantasias, and I loved seeing it being appreciated by many generations of audiences.

Re: “Grand Opening: Antique Archaeology Nashville

"S"and "fanamore" both made some nasty conclusions regarding the guys sexuality. I want them to explain why Frank has spoken about his dates with women several times on the show. Mike is married and has St least one child. I really enjoy the show. Danielle is a huge plus on the air. I will be in the store next time my wife and I visit. Nashville.

Re: “Intergalactic Bead and Jewelry Show

This show is really amazing and for customers huge variety of jewelry is available. But as for me, all jewelry is overpriced, here I can buy less expensive variant

Re: “The Piano Lesson

I had the opportunity to see this play on opening night. It was awesome, especially for the lowly price of 15 dollars. This local theatrical production serves due justice to August Wilson's Pulitzer prizer winning play. Solid performance and a great production!

Re: “Twelve Angry Men

Was an amazing performance by all!!! Completely enjoyed. Only draw back, seating. The viewing from the back was difficult.

Re: “Wild Impressions: Animal Art Auction

What a great event?! Went last year and was able to bid and win a clouded leopard cub painting. Its a great conversation piece in my living room. And the proceeds go to a good cause. I can't wait to see wait WILD things they've come up with this time!

Re: “Idina Menzel

Show was great. Her voice is amazing! Only draw back was the seating at Fontanel was uncomfortable. Felt like we were sitting on top of each other.

Re: “Grand Opening: Antique Archaeology Nashville

Mike, I went by your Nashville store today, and you need to expand exponentially! More stuff, and a lot more floor space. BTW, I've got 13 typesetting trays, a dressmaker's form and a rare barber's chair on top of a heap of pickables that I want you to see--and bargain with me for. Nashville is a major tourist destination, and you could increase your foot traffic if you had a bigger store and a restaurant, and easier access by car. I had a hard time getting there and parking. There's lots of storefronts vacant in the Metro area, and you could get advertising and directions in all the hotels, etc. Love your show!

Re: “Lukas Nelson and Promise of the Real w/Folk Uke

I am proud to see the next generation of music following in the footsteps of their father's (not particularly in music) and doing things their own way.I have seen Lucas Nelson and Promise of the Real preform and they have a good tight sound and if I get a chance I also want to see Folk Uke.I won't make it to this show but maybe one in the near future.....y'all keep putting out the music and we'll keep listening.

Re: “Grand Opening: Antique Archaeology Nashville

"Frank (Mike) and I", or at the end of a sentence "Frank (Mike) and me"; not "Me and Frankie (Mike)". Both of you are obviously entertaining and have business savvy, yet you SOUND like morons. Why not use some of your profits and enroll in a brush-up grammar course?

Re: “Grand Opening: Antique Archaeology Nashville

My family and I happened to be in Nashville and we wanted to stop and see the store. We were shocked at the line outside waiting to get in. Yes, it seemed to be a gift shop full of tshirts and hats but luckily, my 9 year old son was able to find a picking treasure that spent his hard earned money on hoping that Mike or Frank picked it. He was a bit disappointed not to see Danielle but we all still enjoyed ourselves. I'm really not sure what people expect to see out of this shop. Maybe a possible suggestion to Mike is that it would be beneficial to pick more "smalls" for the shop so the fans can feel like they have a bit of the American Picker nostalgia. Well worth it though!

Re: “Dinner with Friends

Very entertaining indeed. A unique viewpoint of how we interact with those we spend our lives with, and rely on for comfort and acceptance as we are. Close friends aren't always as they seem, and relationships with them aren't a neat little package that can be tweaked to suit our needs. This play is a reminder of that. Sometimes the people we love the most branch out into different directions and don't follow the path we feel is best suited for them. The emotions and reactions that follow said behavior forces us to take a look at our own lives and relationships. I encourage everyone to see this. It is expertly directed and produced. The play unfolds flawlessly, with excellent sound and set design, and a fantastic cast. The subtle little sound effects make you feel like you are right there on Martha's Vineyard having dinner with friends. I had no idea what to expect from this, and it is somewhat eye opening, pushing you to evaluate the relationships in your own life, and your expectations from the ones you surround yourself with. A good way to spend a couple of hours, perhaps with some of your friends. I gaurantee it will spark a discussion.
