Re: “Real Women of Color's Back2School Backpack Giveaway and Family Festival

This is a great group of women. I was blessed to take this photography of them and they are all wonderful, down to earth people. I hope everyone can come out to support their event!

Re: “Showmance

If you've ever been involved in any sort of theater production or you just enjoy theater people, this show is laugh-out-loud hilarious. If you've ever suffered from verbal or physical abuse or love someone who has, this show will likely move you to tears. Consider giving yourself the gift of attending at least one performance before it closes in two weeks. With an all-star band and stellar actors, a director that makes Mary Poppins look ordinary, and a moving script with witty dialogue and shout-inducing songs...you're likely to want to catch Showmance more than once. Oh, and yes--Glancy Piper.

Yet another amazing show from the Theater Bug! Of course, no one would expect anything less from this fine East Nashville theater company. Go see this show! You will not regret it!

Re: “Showmance

This show was filled with so much heart and talent. I can not stress the amount of talent enough. I am so glad to have seen something that I know is creating such a positive force for not only the actors but for the Nashville community as well.

Re: “Showmance

Listen people, this show has more heart than anything I've seen staged in this town, and just as much talent. I don't care if you don't have kids of your own, don't have kids to take to the show, or if you just hate kids in general, you WILL enjoy this show. This production is not just hugely entertaining, it's also important. There is something here that we can all connect with. It melted this jaded theatre geek's heart, and it is sure to touch yours. Also, Glancy Piper.

Re: “Showmance

"Showmance" is an amazing experience, because while simultaneously being impressed with the caliber of talent and the quality of writing both in the dialogue and music, I was also moved to tears by the story. This is a show for children, AND their parents AND their grandparents! The Theater Bug is a great addition to the East Nashville culture! Go see this show!

If you are a parent and you live in East Nashville, chances are good you already know about the magical, brilliant world of The Theater Bug. If this is the first you've heard of it, then count yourself lucky to be told and get yourself a ticket to this show pronto! Cori Laemmel and Eric Fritsch have written a smart, hilarious, tender, and important show for kids of all ages. Not to mention the cast is top-notch. :)

Re: “Showmance

The young actors and actresses in this show are so talented! This is such a fun show full of laughs and catchy songs you may just find yourself singing on your way out the door. If you have kids this is a perfect show for the whole family to enjoy. If you don't have kids, it's still just a fun, entertaining show by some very talented young actors.

Re: “Showmance

WOW...such talent packed in small packages. You get a little bit of everything with this show, some Grease, Cinderella and a great message. If you get a chance come see what great Nashville talent looks like in the beginning stages, these kids are awesome.

Re: “Showmance

I expected a show full of kids being cute and funny...what I didn't expect was the complex feelings that these children brought to the table. It wasn't just a good show for kids...it was a good show for everyone! There is an amazing energy there! Pack
Your Kleenex...it will make
You feel things!

Re: “Sawtooth Printshop Opening

Terrible Experience. Went to them for poster work and they convinced us they could do our wedding invitations. The first proof they sent us didn't even have the text inviting anyone to anything! Everytime I called I got the other person. Numerous mistakes from their end caused me to get more involved. They just couldn't follow simple instructions and when they finally finished the invitations, they sucked. Friends, family, and co-workers all agreed their work was unacceptable for wedding invitations and when I expressed my displeasure they said, "man this is letterpress and that is what makes it unique!" A good friend referred me to a different shop that agreed to finish what they started and assured me their work would far exceed their product and IT DID! These two people are running a joke of a business and know nothing about customer service. They take no responsibility for their failures and expect to be paid for shit work. DO NOT USE SAWTOOTH PRINTHOUSE.
