Re: “Morgan Evans-Weiler w/Dylan Simon & Sparkling Wide Pressure

That line was edited in actually, or I'd respond to your comment :) Regardless, should be a great show!

Re: “Free "Jeremy" Benefit feat. Chancellor Warhol, AutoVaughn, Ravello, Lazersnake, The Compromise, Z & MC Steve Lee

When I read the first line of your comment I thought you were talking about the band "War On Drugs"... I think most thinking Americans realize the "war on drugs" (no caps) has been a total failure and drain of taxpayers' moneys. The question is "why is it still going on"? The simple answer: politics. The politicians are afraid to stand up and be counted and risk outraging the conservative constituents. Just one person's opinion.

Re: “Morgan Evans-Weiler w/Dylan Simon & Sparkling Wide Pressure

Although, it's amazing the experimental community has been getting recognition in institutions such as the scene, I find the passage "have the dead inside feeling of the occult" to be both misguided and misleading. First of all, the traditional definition of the occult is HIDDEN or UNSEEN. Second, I am open about the work I do as being unifying of both LIGHT and DARK aspects of perception. Therefore being "dead inside" is actually irrelevant to what I do, not to mention that this notion can be looked at both literally and figuratively... What exactly is death? Is our inside different or the same as outside?

Find out on Friday folks.

Re: “Keane w/Patrick Watson

Lance you are the type of stupid asshole that gives the Nashville music scene a bad rep. I agree that you should keep your money to spend in bars to go see opening acts like Patrick what's his name.

Re: “Jimbo Mathus and Patrick Sweany w/Tri-State Coalition

FYI - Patrick Sweany will not be able to perform at tonight's show - he's had a death in the family and is out of town. - Nine Mile Records

Re: “Jimbo Mathus and Patrick Sweany w/Tri-State Coalition

Jimbo Mathus is an American singer-songwriter and a well known blues guitar player, best known for his work with the Swing revival band Sguirrel Nut Zippers. He usually plays American music, jazz, blues and country kind of music. Aside guitar he can also play bass, drums, piano, trombone, mandolin, harmonica and so on....

Re: “George Lopez

Comedians are just like actors. they are act in a funny way that engages the audience. The routine might seem controversial and full of stereotypes but it's funny and people like it. The white majority are his main costumers and not many latinos even know who he is. Many new comedians such as Kat Williams, Joy Koy, and Daniel Tosh use this method of comedy because we live a country of racist people and if they weren't ok with this method we would have gotten rid of it way before. I guess the only thing left to do is laugh it off.

Re: “Grand Opening: Antique Archaeology Nashville

@p - Yes, this is Mike's store. Frank has a store called Frank's Finds but not in Nashville. This one and the one in LeClaire all are Mike's.

Re: “So She Lived

Needs a rewrite to make it more cohesive--it is in workshop mode now. There are strands of thought that seem unconnected and do not progress the story. The author definitely has a message, but the play does not flow and the lead actor tended to overplay and over-emote his scenes to the point of distraction. Looking forward to the final product.

Re: “Idina Menzel

Show was great. Her voice is amazing! Only draw back was the seating at Fontanel was uncomfortable. Felt like we were sitting on top of each other.
