Re: “What Democracy Looks Like

AnglRdr,

By the way, we are still waiting for you to answer the question of whether you think that it would be wrong for the Legislature to pass laws requiring local governments to pass non-discrimination and living wage laws or you only want to limit such intrusions on local authority to what you like.

Re: “What Democracy Looks Like

AnglRdr and B'dog,

"Tell us how the voter ID laws you all have been passing would stop absentee voter fraud?"

They won't. But absentee voter fraud is much easier to identify and stop. All you need to do is call the voter to make sure they requested an absentee ballot. Alternatively the appropriate election commission {the county where each person requesting the ballot resides} should send out a first class letter to the voter. If the letter comes back, then investigate the request. If it doesn't come back, the odds are good that the request is legitimate.

I am all for ensuring that every absentee request is checked out.

Re: “Three Things to Know After Yesterday's Qualifying Deadline

In Tennessee the Democrat's problem is not the individual candidates, it's the party's collective incompetence and mindless immorality and their gushing willingness to spend tax dollars on unpopular projects. Also, whether they like it or not, they are duct taped to Obamacare and the financial horror stories continue to roll in. Of course, liberals wouldn't know about that because they never watch or listen to fair and balanced reporting.

Re: “What Democracy Looks Like

Don't hold your breath waiting for an answer, Angl.

I'm sure Mark is aware that the one area in the voting process where a measurable and regular degree of fraud has been documented is in absentee voting.

But, of course, as Republicans also know, absentee ballots tend to skew Republican. Early voting skews Democratic. So there's an obvious need to cut back on the days for early voting. That's why such measures have been included in every single one of the "ballot integrity"/voter ID laws that have passed in the several states. Keep your eye on the peanut, boys. This is about ballot access, not ballot integrity.

Physicals are copay-free.

Moost, prostate cancer is a killer, but it can be cured relatively easily if caught early. You're a fool for not having it checked.

twh, ah, now a red herring or is it a strawman? Too bad you're bored or you could go on down the list. Mocking goes both ways. Thanks for the laughs.

Re: “G.A. Hardaway, Let Me Introduce You to Planned Parenthood

Personally I am not wanting to have anything passed which will encourage my doctor to give me a prostate exam. But that is just me.

Re: “G.A. Hardaway, Let Me Introduce You to Planned Parenthood

It just encourages congress to amend the ACA to ibnclude 'well man' coverage. I guess that means there would be no co-pay? I know that my policy already covers those exams as normal doctor visits.

Excellent work, Mark! I was hoping you'd find that one!

So. Tell us how the voter ID laws you all have been passing would stop absentee voter fraud?

Re: “Three Things to Know After Yesterday's Qualifying Deadline

Any word on the possible Democratic challenger in Speaker Harwell's district?

"always enjoy a 'debate' where ad hominem attacks are prevalent over facts. It's very telling.

I may be wrong but it seems you may believe all official government tales. "

Ah, irony!

And to Hardaway and Campfield, prostate and testicular cancer screenings are, and have been, normal parts of men's well-health checks for decades, regardless of a man's risk of them. It's weird how no legislation was even required to get those, though, isn't it?

Looks like Jacob Maurer isn't running in the D primary for US Senate.

I'm not debating you, I'm mocking you. If I wanted to debate you, I'd ask your opinion on lizard people or grey men. At any rate, now I'm bored with all that now. You're a boring troll.

Anyway, the main point was that Hardaway and others of his ilk rarely write their resolutions and laws. They come from those whose agenda favors profit over all potential costs to others. Maybe that's something we can agree on, or maybe not.

Re: “G.A. Hardaway, Let Me Introduce You to Planned Parenthood

I agree. Mike Adams at NN is an AJ partner and should be taken with a grain (mine) of salt. Not everything at NN is as frantic as you might think though. Good propaganda must contain some truth to have any kind of credibility.

That said, I'm sure the pharmaceutical industry and the FDA would never lie to us, would they? There's no such thing as 'checkbook science' for profit, is there? Do your own research. Make your own choice. It's your kids. Just please don't support forcing everyone else to take this jab against their better judgement.

Don't be a lazy troll. I'm sure you could have found something about Gardasil on a site at least as frantic as InfoWars. Natural News is just insipid. You didn't even mention chemtrails. Amateur.
