No one is going to see this comment but this article is as crass as Miley for using 'urban' to say black.

Re: “Watch Ian Anderson's 'Nephews' JEFF the Brotherhood Troll San Diego TV Station

What is not true? Whether or not they are his nephew or whether or not that fact is revealed in the video? Clearer writing, please

Re: “How a terrible worship song drove me from Christianity

You've definitely got bigger problems than the lyrics of a worship song. Hope you find yourself before it's too late! I'm disappointed that you would choose to publicize and ridicule the place of worship. FBC Nachville is a fine church and I question the entire article. Good luck, but I won't be buying any of your work!

Re: “Jeff Beck's going down at the Ryman Sunday, and you don't want to miss it

As a lifelong Jeff Beck fan, I appreciate the effort to sing his praises but I want to rip my hair out at how constantly mainstream writers and DJs and whoever else can't do more than mention "Truth", "Blow By Blow" and "Wired" as examples of the man's excellence. Listen to his catalogue since the 60s and early 70s and you will find a dazzling array of albums that cover everything from rockabilly to techno played with conviction and authenticity and originality, the stuff that has earned Jeff Beck multiple Grammy awards. His version of the Beatles' "A Day in the Life" is extraordinary. I just wish writers would stop casting Jeff Beck as an oldies act who was overlooked. He's moved on...by light years. His fans recognize that and I think more people are coming around to the fact that he's a true musical treasure, but he'd get even more of the appreciation he's due if the media delved a little deeper into what he's been doing and suggested that everyone give it a listen.

Re: “The strange but true story of Leon Payne's classic country killer, 'Psycho'

I'm Leon's daughter, Myrtie Le Payne, I have the original recording of Psycho. It's when Daddy wrote it and recorded with his Martin guitar, on a reel to reel, in his den

Re: “Another Reason to See Jeff Beck Sunday: Jimmy Hall

Jimmy's history with Beck goes back to the 80s when was on Beck's "Flash" album, singing on 4 or 5 tunes, and I think he toured with him then too. Such a great, soulful singer; too often taken for granted in his hometown.

Re: “Watch The Edge Fall Off Stage at U2's Tour Opener Last Night

Well, if there was ever a time for them to play "I Fall Down" for the first time in 30 years...

Re: “Jeff Beck's going down at the Ryman Sunday, and you don't want to miss it

No one who has followed JB's career would overlook Jimmy Hall, but none of the posts here gives any mention to the Album Flash, a great pop-rock workout, and Hall's vocal on The Train Kept a'Rollin which was featured in the DeVito/Schwartzenneger movie Twins. JB and Hall have collaborated for decades and as good a vocal foil as Stewart was.
