Holly Street Daycare will raise money to help subsidize childcare for low-income families at a wine tasting event with entertainment provided by Chuck Mead and the Grassy Knoll Boys on October 11 at the LP Field’s West Stadium Club.
The fundraiser, Holly Street Rocks, is in its fifth year. The 6:30 p.m. event is open to the public and will include wines and premium beers provided by Midtown Wine and Spirits as well as dancing to the sounds of the self-proclaimed “uncompromising hillbilly band” from 9 to 10:30 p.m. Tickets are $60 ($50 in advance through Sept. 25), and are available at Midtown Wine and Spirits, by calling the center at 615-227-1421 or online at www.hollystreetrocks.org.
