ARTRAGEOUS COMES OF AGE: In its 21st year, Artrageous celebrates a time when flappers and gangsters were rulers of the social scene. Artrageous 21 “Glitz & Glam” is a 1920’s themed event taking place Saturday, November 8th, 2008. This annual event will raise money for Nashville CARES - Middle Tennessee’s comprehensive AIDS organization. Under the direction of Artrageous Board President, Jon Glassmeyer and Vice President Brian Pickler; Gary Gaston and Ryan Moss are the event’s co-chairs. Featuring eight local art galleries, Art & Invention, The Arts Company, Bennett Galleries , Estel Gallery, Gallery B, Richter Gallery, Rymer Gallery and Tennessee Art League (TAL), the tour is expected to be a big hit. Nashville ’s own DJ Ron will be providing music at the late party’s new location, Limelight, while radius 10 will be serving wonderful hors d’oeuvres.
