It's hard to believe that three years have passed since New Orleans suffered the devastating floods wrought by Hurricane Katrina. A new photography exhibition at The Parthenon gives viewers a chance to experience this catastrophic event for themselves. The central work in Immersion documents William Rosen's horrific discovery of his devastated home upon returning to the city after the flood. A room-construction covered in over-sized photographs gives viewers an intimate look at his personal tragedy. The exhibit also includes award-winning images from New Orleans' Times-Picayune newspaper.
