It's no secret that my idea of healthy living vacillates between the extremes of doing crazy adventure races and juicing to indulging in mass amounts of beer and alcohol-infused whipped cream or eating desserts for every meal. Since I tend to swing closer to the dessert/alcohol end of the spectrum, it's fortunate that I love exercising so much, which is the only reason I do not weigh 600 pounds.
It's also fortunate that there are so many options for exercising in Nashville, and it's my goal to try them all. In the Scene's third Fitness Crawl, you can try a bunch of them, too. The Fitness Crawl kicks off today and features FREE classes from The Bar Method, Barre Amped, The Chrome Bar, Pure Barre, Studio Novo, Iron Tribe, Nashville Ballet, Renee’s Groove Room and Abrasive Media. Several of the studios are already booked, but you can still sign up for a classes online — check here to see what's still available. As of today, you can still do a class at Renee's Groove Room and Iron Tribe (which I tried earlier this year and loved). See something you like, but it's already full? Check back, because if people cancel, they'll open the spots back up.
